Does anyone recall any other administration going into a school and blaming a prior administration or person for any ills in the country? Can you imagine the uproar if Nixon as Ike’s VP had gone into some 5th grade and uttered the west lost all the now communist states because Rosevelt and his follower Truman were bamboozled by Stalin into ceding huge territories to the commies because they either were socialists or their administrations were so infiltrated by commies and fellow travelers?

There are certain rules among decent American politicians: You don’t criticize your own country when you’re abroad. You don’t try to propagandize an audience of captive children.
