Well it isn’t like he is going to do anything about global warming regardless of whether anyone agrees with the science. Aspects of the Huntsman energy policy will actually release significant amounts of greenhouse gases. So I don’t get why he is considered moderate or liberal, especially re: economics where this election will fall. But definitely preferable to Romney on every level !!

I'm surprised she used Mark's show as the avenue for announcing...but if that is what she has done and decided...so be it.
Supposedly there was also a letter sent out to close supporters today that read:
October 5, 2011
Wasilla, Alaska
After much prayer and serious consideration, I have decided that I will not be seeking the 2012 GOP nomination for President of the United States. As always, my family comes first and obviously Todd and I put great consideration into family life before making this decision. When we serve, we devote ourselves to God, family and country. My decision maintains this order.
My decision is based upon a review of what common sense Conservatives and Independents have accomplished, especially over the last year. I believe that at this time I can be more effective in a decisive role to help elect other true public servants to office.
From the bottom of my heart I thank those who have supported me and defended my record throughout the years, and encouraged me to run for President. Know that by working together we can bring this country back and as Ive always said, one doesnt need a title to help do it.
I will continue driving the discussion for freedom and free markets, including in the race for President where our candidates must embrace immediate action toward energy independence through domestic resource developments of conventional energy sources, along with renewables. We must reduce tax burdens and onerous regulations that kill American industry, and our candidates must always push to minimize government to strengthen the economy and allow the private sector to create jobs.
Those will be our priorities so Americans can be confident that a smaller, smarter government.
For me, at this point then, it is...
HERMAN CAIN FOR A STRONGER, MORE SECURE, AND RESTORED AMERICA!

She said that same thing in Iowa this summer so no surprise. She’s a believer in ‘Anybody but Obama’. See my tag.

And hopefully get grounded in reality and follow the Buckley Rule - support the most conservative candidate who can win.

Absolutely! Ponder this: Hillary could be a lot harder to beat than Soetoro Mugabe. To quote the Joker, What this town needs is an enema. For those with a bit of faith left over, a veto-proof senate and grass roots house would be a good fall back position. Remember 2010. Never give up!

If you are going to donate, donate to the candidate, not the party. The party is corrupt.

I’m very upset also, but then I thought of this:
“Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”

carling is right caww. It's been absolutely ugly on FR and the ugliness directed toward Perry was inexcusable imo. But we move on.
Anyone that got that ugly on Palin threads either had their comments removed or they were banned. But it continued mostly unabated on Perry threads and toward the people who are favorable toward Perry.

Just the other day I was accused of not acting Christian when I asked where we would get all that crow for the Palinista’s to eat.
Oh well, at least hunting season starts soon.

Not voting for Romney, if he is indeed nominated, is a vote for Obama. Time to hold your nose.
Such is the mentality that has brought us to this day ... the mentality the establishment GOP depends upon. It's not time to hold your nose. It's time to vote your conscience. Write someone in if need be. But pay special attention to the congressional races because the write-in will likely not win. In the meantime, get behind the most conservative candidate on the field for the primary -- and that is not Romney.

Not holding my nose anymore....Voting CAIN even if a write in...

Again - the people you are talking about represent a relatively small percentage of the voters. No major impact in the real world IMHO
