Last night on talk radio they had a guy who took his army GI bill 50k and got a BA in photography —somehow or other this credulous nut ended up with ***$200,000*** in student debt...!
This is INSANE —you don’t even need a degree to work in photography.
Universities are taking advantage of their customers, who have access to OODLES of capital, with no way of later discharging debt.
These dirt-heads are stupid and/or nuts, but why go all the way to Wall Street to get pissed off at this other, unrelated group of folks...?
Just chain yourself to the doors of the local liberal University...
Hey, young lady, that smacks a little too close to capitalism for our taste!
I have a small house as it is all we can afford.
We never eat out as we can’t afford it.
We never order takeout as we can’t afford it.
We have a car each but they are not fancy but it is all we can afford.
My kids ask for stuff but I tell them that I will do my best but some things are too much money, ALL MY KIDS UNDERSTAND THIS.
We do not go on vacations but maybe take a day trip somewhere in the summer as it is all we can afford.
WE LIVE WITHIN OUR MEANS and yet college kids go out to eat, buy clothes all the time, live the good life and now want me to pay for their lifestyle we,, they can really piss off.
My hard work goes to my young kids not these dopes and where are their parents and what were their parents teaching them.?
My 13 year old cuts grass, he is the oldest, he knows if he wants the extras he works for them, now where was their parents teaching this?
What did you expect....it’s an education degree for public schools..(oops, she says “senior” so she probably hasn’t passed the tests yet)
How can you owe that much in student loans and not be employed AT SOMETHING?! I guess they never figured they would stop going to school! Dumb asses is all I can say.
BTW, why do you need a college degree to repair printers or paint portraits?!
They don’t want a freaking job and I don’t want to hire them if they can’t clean themselves or dress any better than that!
