This does prove to be a bit of a quandry. Where would Perry’s abilities best be served? With Texas, or with the rest of the country? If elected, will he put his foot down, and tell mexico to back off? Or will he cave in to special interests and lobbyists and give free reign to the mexican invasion? Too many question marks for a presidential candidate.
The feds don’t care. If you want to take care of the problem, you will have to take care of of it on your own, along with those who support you.
Oh, there are signs.
And he will use that Sharpie in his first day in office to repeal Obamacare.
AND, if you are Governor Perry, you run for president to correct the constraints and problems that you have experienced at the federal government's hands.
If you are Rick Perry, you forge ahead and try to save the whole country from what he has experienced as Governor.
Too many question marks for a presidential candidate??? Those are excellent questions. But they are questions you have to ask of every candidate. Those are not questions exclusively for Perry. What you have to do in asking those questions is to:
1. See how the candidate responds when asked those type of questions.
Perry has laid out a step-by-step plan to secure the border. BUT it can only be done with the Feds help. Now, either you think: I believe he will do what he says he will OR call him a liar. Those are your only two options.
2.you look at their record.
A multitude of people incuding myself have already posted on this thread the numerous things he is currently doing in his limited state power to secure the border. Rangers, 400 million in tax money etc etc.
At some point, when someone says repeatedly that they will do something and their record shows that they are doing everything in their power to get to that point, then you have to either believe them or call them a liar. That goes for any candidate, not just Perry.
Good, I’m glad to see that there are. I will getting one in that case.
There are bumper stickers, as well.
"Rick Perry made a bus stop at Fatz Cafe in Gaffney, SC. Talking about the 3 key components to getting America working again: Dont spend all the money. Keep taxes low and regulations fair. And invest aggressively in job creation, because good jobs make the American Dream possible." (www.rickperry.org)
Thank you for correcting me, madam :^)
It appears they are handing them out at his campaign stops. I’m not sure how to get one. Maybe you will get really lucky, and he will stop in your area.
Actually yes, I will be seeing him next week at a meet and greet in my town so hopefully they will.
On a side note, the baby in that pic is absolutely adorable. :)
What is the physical location of that fence in Texas?
It is in the rural area of South Texas approximately 10 miles WNW of the urban areas of the Rio Grande Valley.
