Top Republicans blasted Attorney General Eric Holder on Tuesday after reports surfaced that he might have known about the controversial Fast and Furious gun-tracking operation earlier than he previously claimed.
Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) tweeted, What part of Q, When did you first know about the program known as Fast and Furious? didn't AG Holder understand?
McCain has asked for a Senate hearing into the operation.
Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), who is conducting the inquiry as chairman of the House Oversight Committee, retweeted McCain's Twitter post, along with links to news reports. Issa has used Twitter extensively to push for transparency during his committees ongoing investigation into the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives operation that might have led to the death of a Border Patrol agent.
Two other Arizona Republicans, Reps. Ben Quayle and Trent Franks, also took interest in the story, with Franks tweeting a link to a conservative blog post about Holder.
The gun-running operation took place in the Southwest, and has consequentially been a central issue for congressmen from that region.
Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. Big, tough guy.
Piss off, McCain. RETIRE!
nice of you to catch up Juan.
When do the Senate hearings begin?
trying to guarantee that spot on the Sunday morning lineup next week, I see.
Ha ha. Boy you guys sure are cynical about JM
We have too many classes in this country. Political Class (McCain, Obama and the rest of Washington elite), Protected Class (Left-wing Black Politicians, Left-wing Homosexuals, Communists), Elite Class, Hollywood Lefty Class, etc.
Ok there mcshame, now you grow a set?
Where the hell was he during the campaign?
He damn well knew who obama was and what he was capable of back then.
“We have nothing to fear from senator obama”.
Shove off there sailor. Worthless POS human vermin.
Yo time is up.
Ruff ruff!!
Look for Holder to stonewall until the last days of Obama's presidency. Then Obama will grant him an unconditional pardon.
Holder can't be prosecuted because all federal prosecutions are at the discretion of the Attorney General. Even when the perpetrator is the Attorney General. He can be impeached, but that's about it.
Pathetic.
Don’t worry, next week the “King of the RINOs” will be praising him!
FUJM!
You're the cowardly prick who took a dive during the campaign, telling us not to be afraid of this President.
Dipsh!t.
If you'd run a real race, you could've resigned after a year and handed everything over to Sarah, and we'd be in the middle of cleaning UP DC right now instead of worrying about Gov. Perdue's remarks about suspending elections.
Cheers!
Well, I guess your lousy worthless seat is worth for something. Turn the heat up McCain, if you dare. Wouldn’t want you to get uninvited to a cocktail party or something if it bothers you too much.
I was there, present and in person in Minnesota when you said 0bama was a good man. Creep!
McCain wants a hearing on “Fast and Furious” because he thinks he’ll get to meet Vin Diesel.
It seems McCain has some vested interest in this administration that goes way back, he almost blew it when he nominated Sarah Palin for VP. His handlers were working overtime to keep her from breaking out, and winning the campaign.

Senate Panel Approves Holder Nomination For AG
Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., said he supports Holders view that the country needs to interrogate terrorism suspects based on American values.
I am confident this new attorney general will have a balanced approach and I look forward to working with him. I know hes made mistakes and so have I, Graham said.

USC to get new business building
Funds will come from leasing current building to Department of Justice
An estimated 250 Justice Department employees working in different locations near Washington, D.C., will be relocated to Columbia over an unspecified period.
Graham said U.S. taxpayers will save $42 million by having Justice Department employees working in South Carolina, which has lower costs than Washington.
It was almost too good to be true, Graham said of the plan. But it proved to be true.
Graham, a Republican, praised U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder and Deputy Attorney General David Ogden, both of whom were appointed by President Obama, a Democrat.
I cant thank Eric Holder and David Ogden enough, Graham said, adding they offered their support for a leasing plan that was initiated during the administration of George W. Bush.
Um. John?
Remember assuring us, we had nothing to worry about?
DO YOU REMEMBER THAT?
After Holder is impeached, IMHO, next year.
Where the hell was he during the campaign?
