We will have blackouts next summer. We almost had them this summer.
Texas spent close to $7 billion on WIND power and when the hottest days hit, they produced squat! The wind don’t blow when its that hot in Texas.
We could have spent half as much on natural gas fired power plants and had reliable power when it’s needed. Instead the eco-freaks ensure that we will have blackouts.

All calls should go to ERCOT which is the comission apointed by the gov. Call them and put some serious pressure on them so they put presssure on the epa.
They’ve gone mad with power.
This summer, they ordered the temporary shutdown of a coal plant I worked at years ago. All because the cooling return water to the river was 1 degree higher than their arbitrary limit...
It was record heat/humidity at the time but the bastards still forced the shutdown until the cooling system was upgraded. The margins at these plants are very slim and sitting idle for so long wiped out almost two years of profits.
There was no rationality, arbitration or discussion. Pure totalitarianism all according to The One’s plan...
If Rick Perry had any b@$#s he just would not allow the plants to close and tell the EPA to butt out. Now that might get him some presidential creds.
I thought Obama rescinded that EPA regulation by Executive Order a few weeks ago.
And since when does the EPA care about asthamatic individuals since they eliminated the use of convenient and fast-acting over-the-counter inhalers, like Primatene Mist?
