I can confirm that the picture of the supposed masses of protestors is a lie because I work down at that end of Manhattan and walk through that area every weekday. The protests amount to small roving bands of dropouts and nutjobs making occasional "marches" up and down the street, and that's about it.

This is yet another example of what I love most about the internet — the ability of ordinary citizens pooling their knowledge to uphold the truth. Until Obama was elected, the same crowds showed up in DC every September to protest/party the IMF and World Bank. Whoever decided to get ‘communities organized’ this year has put the cap on any validity that this type of protest may have ever had. It is now officially a joke.

Their list of demands sounds like the Onion published it, or ‘brainwashed’ middle-schoolers dreamed it up.
