Nonsense. It means no such thing. The Bible is entirely silent on the topic. It is meant for us humans here on Earth. Anything beyond that is purely imponderable as well beyond the scope of what He's told us so far.

Read the lost book of Enoch (the watchers is part 2 of the 3 part book of Enoch). The book of Enoch is mentioned in the bible, but was lost until fairly recently. Versions were discovered, and confirmed by fragments found in the Dead Sea caves (this is how we know the version we have is the original).

A very pregnant absence in this discussion thread is the reference in Genesis of the Nephilim from the days of Noah, who’s genetic and spiritual influence brought great sin and violence upon the Earth.

There were no remainders of Giants from before the flood, they would have had to come from Noah’s sons and their progeny. I have read some fascinating stuff about archeaological discoveries made concerning the peoples(giants) that the Hebrews eventually destroyed when they finally took Israel. Satan’s genetic manipulation via the Nephilim may have yet been at work even this late in human History.
Noting that Christ said that the days of “the coming of the son of Man” would be as the “days of Noah”, reading up on what made those days so evil, part of the blame is assigned to the Nephilim. Now in the past 60 years or so, there has been marked increase in the interest in the possible existence of ET’s. Professional psychologists are studying and documenting increasing frequency of reported abductions and visitations. Have the Nephilim descended again? Have Satan and his minions been finally thrust out of heaven? I’m asking posing questions only. Does Christ’s analogy of the Days of the Coming of the Son of Man match that of the Days of Noah exactly, including the arrival of the Nephilim?

You are discounting the fact that Noah’s family may have been carrying recessive genes.
Noah was righteous. He saved his family. HIs family could have included someone passing the corrupted genes.
You read a little too much into a collection of religious writings (old testament) that have been rewritten many times over by men, emperors and kings with their own agendas.
So let me understand your argument. It first requires that I assume the Bible is riddled with errors. I have spent considerable effort studying lower criticism of the Scriptures, and while you may claim King James may have endeavored to create a biased version, we still have plenty of manuscripts predating that time, and we even have other English translations such as the Genevea which preceded the KJV by fifty years. I am confident that we have a faithful codex reflecting the originals.

Your second argument relies on the fallacy argumentum ad ignorantiam ? I suppose I could argue from a doctrinal standpoint but you have already declared that the Sciptures are irrelevant. You can assume what you want. The bible is a tremendous collection of writings and philosophies as well as teachings that were in part inspired by historical events and I have no doubt inspired by deep religious beliefs and convictions; inspired by God in us and with us without a doubt. The writings provide paths, examples of living and lessons that serve us all through the ages. They were not one set of books, teachings or ideals until the near modern era and were not coalesced into an agreed to text until Constantine convened a council to decide which of the many books and writings were worthy of the faith and which were not. Again, various versions were still in circulation up to the time when King James again convened a council to revise it once again. The bible in all of its versions and forms as well as the writings and teachings that were not included have all been written by MEN. If you want to believe that they were directed by God to bring about these revisions then that is your right. I don’t believe they were and while the old testament is an inspiring book of teachings it is the word of God according to men and particularly the men who wrote them. God has the ability to make anything happen along any timeline He so desires and that include creating other universes along with other intelligent beings. The men who wrote that creation took seven days had no concept of extended time and space but that does not imply that God is limited to seven days. They did, however, presume to know the mind of God. I see God in the wonders of the natural world as well as the complex evolution of life on this earth. Will we as men ever understand everything? No, but God gave us the inquisitive nature and desire to discern as much as possible of God’s universe and wonders. God is capable of anything which is beyond the minds of the men who wrote the words in a context that they could understand. Study to your hearts content but the originals as you call them were finally written down in many versions after centuries of oral tradition maintained by many mortal men.
angels ( whether from GOD or not) love to do their little shows here and there. They are funny in a glorious, mysterious, and powerful way. As GOD has give them more power than us ( for a time). So, they can definitely make us think more than what is there.
Its very natural for us when we see them to call them aliens or whatever. They are alien to us. Definitely. GOD is alien to us, thats why we cant obey all HE wants. The angels live to adore GOD, so, they amaze us, enlightened, and edify us. The other angels live to follow “ the other one”, so, the evil actions amaze and defile us. Both are complete extreme things.
But, be careful of evil teachings my friends ( Pharisees) as they love to take words from the Bible and flip/play with them. The word “ alien” in the bible just meant a stranger, or someone on this earth, but not a native of your land. Be careful and very aware.
Complete and extreme actions will always throw humans in a world of confusion. This is only because humans are imperfect. Anything that is perfect to a human is another world. Anything that does live perfectly will always make a human be confused and think “ other worldly”. This is only Because humans can not live perfectly. Just enjoy what we can not do, touch, or see. Better to focus on getting ourselves together (through worshipping the Father, believing and following Jesus, and listening to the Holy Spirit), so that we dont devour ourselves. This is new to me today! I never knew this. I assumed the non fallen angels were God pleasing always!

AMEN. Praise GOD for all things. GOD’s kingdom is like nothing we can imagine. Just like JESUS unconditional love is nothing like we can imagine.
GOD is a spirit. A spirit has no form, but can form to what it wants. We are form, but cant come out of our form without the permission of the GOD ( the spirit). HIS kingdom has HIS power.
So, definitely HE can send something that looks human as an angel. That’s a great reason why JESUS says,” JUDGE THEE NOT LESS YE BE JUDGED!!”. We never know what GOD is doing. Never. Only we know is clean, repent, confess, pray, and believe in HIM; also spread HIS WORD to the world. That’s all HE asks and all we can do. HE IS AMAZING.

I understand the rapture. I am waiting HIS return. But not eagerly. Not wanting HIM to come quickly. Not at all. Only because in JOHN 10, there is sheep not of this fold that are being brought to HIM!! I can wait for them. I want to see as many people in heaven that is allowed. AMEN!!
John 10:16
16 And there are other sheep I have that are not of this fold, and I must lead these too. They too will listen to my voice, and there will be only one flock, one shepherd.

Matthew 16:28
28 In truth I tell you, there are some standing here who will not taste death before they see the Son of man coming with his kingdom.’
Remember JESUS tells us not to want HIM to come again so quick; as we will be judged. Some are not clean yet. Remember, it says, “ HE will make their robes white!!”. Which means that HE will clean us of our sins. WE cant be in front of GOD any other way. So, it’s better to wait.
Our faith is false if we can’t hold on and be in front of sin with not turning around. Or at least sin alot less than what we were doing before HE came sin our lives. HE has grace and mercy and looks at our hearts and understands when we are truly trying:
2 Peter 3:1-14
1 My dear friends, this is the second letter I have written to you, trying to awaken in you by my reminders an unclouded understanding.
2 Remember what was said in the past by the holy prophets and the command of the Lord and Saviour given by your apostles.
3 First of all, do not forget that in the final days there will come sarcastic scoffers whose life is ruled by their passions.
4 ‘What has happened to the promise of his coming?’ they will say, ‘Since our Fathers died everything has gone on just as it has since the beginning of creation!’
5 They deliberately ignore the fact that long ago there were the heavens and the earth, formed out of water and through water by the Word of God,
6 and that it was through these same factors that the world of those days was destroyed by the floodwaters.
7 It is the same Word which is reserving the present heavens and earth for fire, keeping them till the Day of Judgement and of the destruction of sinners.
8 But there is one thing, my dear friends, that you must never forget: that with the Lord, a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.
9 The Lord is not being slow in carrying out his promises, as some people think he is; rather is he being patient with you, wanting nobody to be lost and everybody to be brought to repentance.
10 The Day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then with a roar the sky will vanish, the elements will catch fire and melt away, the earth and all that it contains will be burned up.
11 Since everything is coming to an end like this, what holy and saintly lives you should be living
12 while you wait for the Day of God to come, and try to hasten its coming: on that Day the sky will dissolve in flames and the elements melt in the heat.
13 What we are waiting for, relying on his promises, is the new heavens and new earth, where uprightness will be at home.

The ones that will be raptured are the elect that are here. There arent that many. Being elect is a serious matter. Tell me if you know the difference before I go to explain! PRAISE JESUS!!
Look in the BIBLE to see people who were raptured/brought up to the LORD. Melchezidek, Elijah, Enoch,
Enoch:
Genesis 5:24
And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.
ELIJAH
2 KINGS 2:11
Then it happened, as they (Elijah and Elisha) continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. 2 Kings 2.11
Disciple John rapture to heaven to receive visions. There are other examples, but, John’s faith is a key to what to look for in people that will be raptured. Those raptureed ( and again, it’s not many) will have this trait. Really not many. Really not many. Remember John from all the 12 was the on Jesus loved. Remember the reason, and know that is the raptured. All mentioned above had this trait. It’s a trait of full LOVE of GOD. Sin is not even a thought after done, and the heart knows no hate at all, no bias, no prejudice, and no fear.
Most are just the mulititde that will suffer and robes made white ( sins be cleaned)and HE will wipe the tears from their eyes. If we look with a spiritual eye, we can see that many come to the church are like this.
It’s all heaven for all of those listed above, but if we are talking the rapture, then the elect is whose going. So, for many, like JESUS says, “ work out your own salvation”. People know their hearts. They know what they do in their lives ( actions when no ones there, thoughts and true feelings). So, they know if they can truly be raptured, saved, or even believe. That’s between them and GOD. But that person is easy to see by what they say and do. Good tree bares good fruit and bad tree bears bad fruit.
Does the church go through tribulation?? OF COURSE because JESUS DID! He is the church first.
James 1:2-4
My brothers, consider it a great joy when trials of many kinds come upon you,
3 for you well know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance, and
4 perseverance must complete its work so that you will become fully developed, complete, not deficient in any way.
Deny me they will deny you
2 Timothy 2:10-13
10 So I persevere for the sake of those who are chosen, so that they, too, may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
11 Here is a saying that you can rely on: If we have died with him, then we shall live with him.
12 If we persevere, then we shall reign with him. If we disown him, then he will disown us.
13 If we are faithless, he is faithful still, for he cannot disown his own self.
We will lightly go through what HE went through. Just to plant a seed can seem like a lot of tribulation. If you do ministry to non-believer, it can get ulgy. Unfortunatly with even “ believers” it can be worse. LOL!! unfortunately. Thats when there is spiritual tribulation, because we ( believers. Meaning those that even mention HIS HOLY NAME) are all supposed to love one another. Only GOD knows our hearts.
The sheep, pastors, ministers,etc.. are all sinners. They will sin. It’s GOD’s law. Keeps us humble and should keep us from judging and hating one another ( if we believe). When people start to point out their sins in public, it’s really sad, because that means that person or people who are pointing are forgetting that they are sinning/sinners. And though people dont see it, GOD DOES!!
Look at the world and see how GOD pays back those that point. It’s really harsh the way HE does it. Thats why its better to let HIM do it, and not do it ourselves. The way HE does it, we can never do it. HE may use some of us to do it, but we usually dont realize it. For those that make it their business to do it, then HE is just leaving that person to their desire to deliver an eye for an eye. To see when GOD leaves people stuck in their desires and allows them minister the WORD is very spiritually painful. Painful to see because those people GOD is just using and leaving them where they truly want to be. They sound very loving at one point then depending on the sin that heart them some where in life, they go off on a tangent and their ministry becomes bias, prejudices, and forms of hate. These are the people JESUS says, “ I never knew you, away from me HE that works iniquity!!”. VERY PAINFUL to see. It’s showing GOD is a respector of no man.
Examples.
1. There will be politicians that tell slander certain sins, then get caught doing it.
2. There will be people that talk against priests or men of the faith, then later end up doing the same things or other things. Or even friends that talk against what people do and then later we see them doing the same thing ( many of us have seen or been a part of that some where in our lives! Praise JESUS we are out of that!! I pray we are!!)
4. There will be weather men who say the BIBLE doesnt know everything, then they cant even predict the weather any more......and so on.....
So, it’s all funny.
We are just supposed to be trying to be the multiitude in white. Trying to clean ourselves in our everyday lives before HIM, love everyone, stay away from sin, spread HIS HOLY WORD, and praise HIS HOLY NAME in and through all things. HE IS GLORIOUS!!
GOD is a respector of no man:
Romans 2:11
11 There is no favouritism with God.
Deuteronomy 10:17
17 for Yahweh your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, triumphant and terrible, free of favouritism, never to be bribed.
Without love ministry is nothing
1 Corinthians 13:2
2 And though I have the power of prophecy, to penetrate all mysteries and knowledge, and though I have all the faith necessary to move mountains — if I am without love, I am nothing.

39 But Jesus said, ‘You must not stop him; no one who works a miracle in my name could soon afterwards speak evil of me.
40 Anyone who is not against us is for us.
Even though they are family, GOD knows who is HIS. No need to worry about false prophets who mention HIS HOLY NAME, because many will call HIS holy name but truly have evil intentions and desires ( like fame, always wanting to be right, wanting to control people, using ministry to abuse people for money, emotions, etc..). HE will handle them. We just need clean ourselves, spread HIS WORD in love, and do all HE says till HE comes again:

20 I repeat, you will be able to tell them by their fruits.
21 ‘It is not anyone who says to me, “Lord, Lord,” who will enter the kingdom of Heaven, but the person who does the will of my Father in heaven.
22 When the day comes many will say to me, “Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, drive out demons in your name, work many miracles in your name?”
23 Then I shall tell them to their faces: I have never known you; away from me, all evil doers!

IMHO it is trust and obey. Obedience is automatic. Without Faith it is impossible to obey. Grace works not us. We rest. God is the Pilot I am not the copilot I am the passenger. We are all the same. We are all poor miserable sinners in need of a Savior. We are beggars for grace.
Matthew 11:28 (NIV) Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Psalm 23 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. Amen! Again, that is not my perspective. My persepective is the full WORD. That phrase you took was just to make sense for that paragraph, and for many people that like to judge on this site.
For me, a person has to believe to have faith, with faith the person obeys, to obey the person reads the WORD, to read the WORD the person follows JESUS, to follow JESUS the person works towards the mark of heaven ( deeds and spreadking), to work towards the mark the person is the passenger in GOD’s plane, but HE allows a steward or stewardess to ask you what you want to eat sometimes ( LOL!! think about that one), and if you eat the right thing, the plane goes in a direction that is further in the heavens. ALLEULIA!! ( spelled that wrong I think!! LOL!!)
THe full WORD is where GOD has me. NOt a perspective. But if a person has a perspective, they may read my writing and think I have one. But, IN THE HOLY PRECIOUS NAME OF JESUS!!! I dont!! GOD makes me LOVE IT ALL! Because in faith there is time for all the perspectives, but one has to know ( through prayer) when to use them!!
