Cain on ABC Sunday:...."I know you won't say the word Christiane, so I'll say it for you"..........

Video starts at 2:26

Al Sharpton, Herman Cain join attacks on Rick Perry over slur

“......But the attacks are set to continue, with the Rev. Al Sharpton telling POLITICO he plans to be “all over” the story on his MSNBC show on Monday afternoon.

“At worst, he either thought it was something he could identify with and even have some bit of irony,” Sharpton said. “At best, he’s insensitive. How can someone who would seek the highest office in the land be so insensitive to the implications of that name?”

Sharpton predicted the issue will harm Perry among Republicans.

“Even though he’s running in a party whose primary [does] not have a substantial African-American vote, the average American does not want to be identified to such racial insensitivity,” Sharpton said. “People say, ‘I don’t want to be identified with something this blatant.’”

I heard that there has been some flap over Cain and comments made about the “gay soldier question.” I must have missed the threads/articles, can anyone direct me to what that is all about. I like Cain, and am curious why people are suddenly saying “he’s out” for.

“...Yes it might be a little bit out there....”

Some people believe that if there a little bit of global warming out there, whether man made or not, its not a crisis.

Cain doesn’t think global warming is a crisis that can only be solved by growing government and raising taxes. Do you have a problem with this?

At this rate, though we might vote Cain as Mr. Congeniality, his fellow candidates wouldn’t.

Except for Mitt. Mitt must be sending him the modern big-budget campaign version of flowers every day.

Got that right, I don’t think Republicans realize just how Liberal Christie is. If Christie got into the race they would be in for a rude awaking far too late to do anything about it.

A republican can’t win a presidential election with out the support of conservatives. Christie himself knows hes too green to know how to corral that support.

Folk that want him to join the race are a bit too hopeful. I’m sorry the men who have elected to run are less then prefect, Christie is less experienced and no more prefect then any of them.

To his credit Christie know this, if he ever wants to run for president he can run in 2016, 2020, 2024, ect.. By that time he will have a lot more executive experience under his belt to prove he has the skills to manage a goverment.

They are trying to paint Perry as a racist like they tried to link President Bush with the Jasper Texas dragging. It was Governor Perry and the people of the state of Texas who took in thousands of Katrina victims - most of whom were black.

...and obviously Cain is too naive to be a viable Conservative candidate. Republicans can never trust the media, and never accept the premise of their questions.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t the black community (at least those of the Al Sharpton caliber) use the N word among themselves quite frequently? And I don’t believe it is a term of endearment when they use it either.

Can't we see this for what it is? An attempt to tear down Perry (by the racist inference) and Cain (by trying to "bait" him on the aforementioned issue) at the same time?

We're falling right into their trap.

MSNBC Up Chuck Todd and Chris Matthews are really pushing hard for Chris Cristie this morning on Up Chuck Todds program.

They have not pushed this hard for someone since Michele Bachmann

Apparently the only person Cain will not blast is....Newt. After reading the new Contract, I agree with Cain and hope Newt and Herman get together ...not on the ticket, Ga. would be wasted electorally, but with supporting one another if one is ahead electorally via delegates chosen. I support Newt and would love Cain in the Cabinet.

Lol, I never was a Cain fan but his criticisms of everyone isn't going to help him. Besides, Perry has better hair than fairy looking Mitt.
