Freepers need to familarize themselves on what causes mass revolts. The left have seized the intiative and it is a matter of time the middle will join them because the conditions for revolt and street demonstrations have arrived in the US just like Europe and the Arab World. It is not about ideology but economics and government corruption. Crony capitalism, Wall Street bailout, unemployment, off shoring jobs, saber tooth career growth of workers (hire, then fire, then hire) has finally exploded. People being target will be bankers, Wall Street workers, cops (who went from serve and protect to writing tickets for everything in order to keep his town flooded with fine revenues), political elites in both parties, illegal immigrants, Jews (they always get blamed in every revolt), neocons, etc etc etc. Question becomes, what will our elite and gov do if the demonstrations spread and grows????? If you have not prep start doing it because you are already out of time. Our “Arab Spring” moment may have arrived. Add to this will be a black riot in every major city once Obama leaves office and is replaced by a white GOP POTUS. Normally blacks would have done it, but one black inner city activist pointed out that they have not done so because one of their own is in the WH. Wonder what they would do if Cain is nominated by the GOP and wins in 2012???!!!!!

Antipathy for the Wall Street/DC Axis of Evil is not limited to the commies.

It's nearly universal.

The feelings have become so strong, the outrages so outrageous, that absent a wave election in 2012 there will be blood.

As I responded earlier: these bastards want to take down Capitalism itself. Not just rid the system of a few corrupt SOBs.

They always find an issue which they believe will attract a broad variety of people. They then will use these unwitting dupes (ie,'useful idiots') to advance THEIR (pro-communist) agenda. This is the case with the so-called "anti-war", "Green", and man-made global warming" movements, among others. Most participants don't have the slightest idea what it is their helping to promote. They are other ways of protesting issues without joining hands with the enemies of America.

Yup, this is funded by the left. WE somehow have to point these maggots towards Barney Frank, Chris Dodd and Turbin Durbin.

Cain was in Chicago yesterday. The guy from the NCAAP was real mellow. Didn't know what to say.

I am now a Citizen Cain.

I know what side my Senate Rep is on;

Senator Klobuchar (D-Mn) 2009
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=goTYOjh2q9M&feature=related

Klobuchar “As Van Jones has said, who is a guy who has written a book about the green collar economy, when you think about the green economy, don’t think about Buck Rogers; think about joe six-pack putting on a green hard hat. Think about Rosie the riveter manufacturing solar panels and wind turbines. This is President Obama’s plan — jobs, jobs, jobs.”

I am a Cain guy too. Gov Perry concerned me because there has been too many undercurrent rumors of him acting like Clinton. Using state troopers to get hookers (including possibly gay ones) and being coked up.
I am from NJ where we had a gov (McGreevey) who was gay for many years until his gay lover outed him in a sexual harassment suit when he did not get the post for NJ Homeland Security. Like many NJ we were surprised but my friends from his hometown of Woodbridge were not surprised. They knew of rumors when he was the mayor of the town. I know Perry supporters say he has been in politics for a long time and such acts cannot be hidden. Well Clinton and McGreevey were hidden but rumored for a long time too. Perry supporters have berated me on FR for bringing up this allegation. But note, none of the GOP candidates face this allegation, why only Perry??? If untrue, why does it persist thru Perry’s long political career? There may be no proof, but my gut says the GOP should not risk it. 2012 is too important to risk such a scandal in the next POTUS.
For a more substantial issue, Perry lost me on illegal immigration. Jobs are tight and the last thing I need is a POTUS who can go soft on this issue. He suffers the same problem as GWB, he has a TexMex wife. Wives with liberal views can affect their conservative husbands, especially on pet or personal issues. Just look at the last Gov of CA.

That movement was about Nam. I marched in the hardhat parade in NYC in May 70. More than 500K marched in support of Nixon. The left NEVER succeeded in attracting American workers. They’ve got the leaders now and the rest could join in. The idea of economic fairness is not usually a popular cause, but as people come to believe that the wealthy have caused this recession and still profited from it, anger could rise. Many ordinary folks are like my late dad. A hardhat who poured concrete for roads and foundations. He voted for Nixon in 68, Ike, Ford. But the fact that his 15K a year was taxed ar a higher rate tha 15K in capital gains angered him. He felt it dishonored his labor. He had no gripe with the rich, he didnt want equal outcome, but equal treatment at the hand of govt. People like him could find movements like today’s attractive.

Thank you for your intelligent comments that are directed at this issue. Most of the other posts in this thread add nothing to the conversation....pictures from 40 years ago and anti this and that. There is a very serious issue here and it needs to be looked at seriously. I agree this could grow very large, there are a lot of very angry people today, many who have lost their jobs and many who are now stuck with working part time, temp, low paying jobs far below what they had just a few years ago. A lot of that anger is directed at Wall street and the banks that got huge amounts of cash from people who are having a hard time making ends meet.

For some reason no one seems to call Van Jones on the simple fact that he is parasitic in that he wants to share in the fruits, but does NOTHING to cultivate or produce any fruit.

He's wanting to play, and share in the money-pot comprised of the taxpayer's money.. Not a new approach for a scam artist.

Thanx for your response. My posts were otherwise answered by a cacaphony of images, speeches, and what not from the Nazi Soviet Pact to Code Pink. None of these dealt with my point. Screaming the commies are coming is not an answer to what’s happening in NYC. This may fade out or these mutts could be joined by real people, people angry and alienated by today’s economic realities. The presence of union leaders whose unions consist of bus drivers and teachers, people you sit next to in church, wait on line at the checkout, and who take turns with you driving the kids to little league is an ominous turn best countered with ideas not red baiting when the Wall came down a generation ago.

Uhh, I actually know people who knew and were wth Ayers back in the day. Despite their ceelebrity the world of the SDS was rather small. Guys I drank with after bb games were well acquainted with Bill and Bernadine, even tho they were in Chi and we were in NYC. So I really need no band width filling links to educate me about something I lived through. Id rather hear your response to my points.

Ok, well they blew it.

See this? http://drudgereport.com/

“Protesters call for re-election of Obama”

That’s a fortunate mistake.

It’s way too early to disclose your ultimate objective.

Good. This goes well for us.

What are you doing on a site like FR anyway? You’d feel much more at home at Kos or DU.

Most of the country does not live in the Union shop. But if the teachers and other union members decide to riot in NY, if they block the streets and interfere with people doing their daily, everyday jobs, many NY’ers will get upset with them.

The unionized cities and states are going to have a problem if those unions decide to disrupt daily life. That usually leads to a backlash of some kind and the unions end up losing. Remember the recent Verizon strike. When jobs are scarce, you will find people who are willing to do the work. People don’t understand why these union people with jobs aren’t doing their work. Especially if the public has to pay their paycheck.

So let them join in. Maybe it is about time the public sector lost its unions. There are many people out there who would love to take their jobs.

I saw a video clip of Obama speaking to a union months ago, talking about how he was taking on the forces of big business help them.

If that were true, why did he push the stimulus to bail out wall street?

Shouldn’t these people be protesting against Obama and his bailout of wall street?

This should be a lesson how stupid these useful idiots are, and where we are headed as a nation.
