WASHINGTON - Late Friday, the White House turned over new documents in the Congressional investigation into the ATF "Fast and Furious" gunwalking scandal.
The documents show extensive communications between then-ATF Special Agent in Charge of the Phoenix office Bill Newell - who led Fast and Furious - and then-White House National Security Staffer Kevin O'Reilly. Emails indicate the two also spoke on the phone. Such detailed, direct communications between a local ATF manager in Phoenix and a White House national security staffer has raised interest among Congressional investigators looking into Fast and Furious. Newell has said he and O'Reilly are long time friends.
ATF agents say that in Fast and Furious, their agency allowed thousands of assault rifles and other weapons to be sold to suspected traffickers for Mexican drug cartels. At least two of the guns turned up at the murder scene of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry last December.

Now we know who the fall guy will be. Does anyone really believe the Barack Insane Obama would actually turn over documents that incriminate himself? I am sure that those documents have already been destroyed.
Does anyone know where the documents are? I can’t find them on the White House website or at CBS.
Because, first of all, the documents they released make them look like they were not involved in "letting guns walk" and second of all, this O'Reilly guy can become the "fall guy" if need be as though "the buck" stopped with him.
The emails to and from O'Reilly indicate more than just a passing interest in the Phoenix office's gun trafficking cases. They do not mention specific tactics such as "letting guns walk."
A lawyer for the White House wrote Congressional investigators: "none of the communications between ATF and the White House revealed the investigative law enforcement tactics at issue in your inquiry, let alone any decision to allow guns to 'walk.'"

Might as well, he’s destroyed nearly everything else.
Drudge has several articles up about the documents. He seems to only keep ATF articles up for a short time.
The NSS - national Security Staffer is LITERALLY one degree of separation from the President. It is likely he worked under the National Security Advisor.... OBAMA KNEW ALL ABOUT GUN WALKER. He got the briefings!

Also in the Heritage Foundation report it was stated that “A cross-border gun-running scandal, deaths in the United States and Mexico, staff removals and resignations, secret audio recordings, complaints from foreign officials, hundreds of millions of dollars in loans, bankruptcy, an FBI raid, campaign donors, and allegations of inappropriate White House influence in congressional testimony; and the just reported suicide of ATF agent Jeff Ryan of the LA Field Division. There are serious questions coming out of Washington. It’s time for the media to start demanding answers.”
Hmmm - somebody paid attention to how Mr. Brown met his end.
