Exodus follows ruling upholding state's tough law cracking down on illegal immigration
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Hispanic students have started vanishing from Alabama public schools in the wake of a court ruling that upheld the state's tough new law cracking down on illegal immigration.
Education officials say scores of immigrant families have withdrawn their children from classes or kept them home this week, afraid that sending the kids to school would draw attention from authorities.
There are no precise statewide numbers. But several districts with large immigrant enrollments — from small towns to large urban districts — reported a sudden exodus of children of Hispanic parents, some of whom told officials they planned to leave the state to avoid trouble with the law, which requires schools to check students' immigration status.

Illegals tend to move in country and away from the border. Why do you think they were in Alabama in the first place. I was staying in a Mexican village in Icacos, Mexico (it's the mountainous area in the background of Acapulco). Poverty stricken. No Americans (or foreigners for that matter go there). I was told by future illegals that cities like Chicago are places they go to live because it would be too conscious and more risky to be living in border states.

It is time the states took back the power the US Constitution gave to them and assert that usurped and unchallenged Federal actions are illegal.
We, all of us state-wise, got here by accepting bribe money, usually called grants/payments/vouchers, etc., from the Federal government - with a plethora of rules attached. We need to go cold-turkey and get that monkey off our back and take back our rights the Constitution gave to us OVER AND ABOVE the power of the Federal government.
What the Federal government has done to states with these funds is equivalent to a pimp doping his girls up on crack and putting them out on the street.
We get’em corraled in one spot and sweep’em up and deport them. We’ll help y’all.....

Yeah. We mostly went to the Western Sizzlin’ and Sizzler if I remember correctly. Great salad bars. It’s always nice to get a break from Army food.
