Good to see the SA going back down.
The floor has been 19%. It was scooting along at 19% for quite a few days a while back. It may be headed there again.

Throw a party when it goes below 19.

The range he falls in from day to day is probably about close to where he will stay.
There is a relatively fixed percentage of racists and brain dead liberals that would give him a “strong approve” no matter what he does.
Conversely, there are so many unconcerned or wimpy moderates that would never give him a “strong disapprove”. Either they refuse to admit or accept how bad they screwed up in 2008 or they still somehow believe that he is “like-able person” (like a teacher that gives a passing grade to a complete failure because he is a like-able kid).

Which is apparently 19% of the likely voters. I’ve tracking the difference between the Strongly Approve and Somewhat Approve. When those numbers start to converge, we’ll know that he’s ONLY pleasing his base.

My question in all of these Tracking Polls is how does it translate to dumping Obama next year?

Likewise, however, Rassmussen includes in that number "somewhat approve". Killing Obama, er, Osama (H/T Ted the Swimmer) would make me say "somewhat"--but for all the negatives of this curse of a presidency and administration. Most importantly, his personal approval (not jobs) is upside down in some recent polls. Once you don't like someone who you know too well, you likely will never like him or her.

I’ve tracking the difference between the Strongly Approve and Somewhat Approve.

Of those who approve of Obama, 46% strongly approve (0.21/0.46). Of those who disapprove, 81% strongly disapprove (0.43/0.53). That is a huge difference in intensity between the Obama voters and those who love America. Generally, that ratio translates to some extent into voter turnout in the general election. After four terrible years under the Obama Regime, November 6, 2012, could bring us one very good day.

Another perspective: Obama's strong disapproval has returned to the band for his maximum historical strong disapproval, between 40% and 45%. His strong approval has dropped from the previous sustained equilibrium band of 25% to 30% and may be settling in the 20% to 25% band. While his strong disapproval may settle in at 18-22% or rise to the upper 20s again, it seems unlikely that his strong disapproval will rise much further or that his strong approval will drop by much or rise above 30%. These are the numbers that he will take into the election, and they are VERY good numbers for America.

Thanks for that interesting analysis. No wonder there are rumors of Michelle pitching fits in the WH. She’s put up w a Malignant Narcissist all this time, and all she’s going to get out of it is one term of jet-setting five star vacations. She was counting on two, in which she ***really*** cut loose during the second.

I suspect the 46% total approve is union members, college professors and welfare recipients.
