Last night I wrote my thoughts on just what might possibly be going on in the Palin camp (which we know is comprised of Sarah and Todd):
Have you watched her interviews over the past few months? The commentary she uses to defer the “BIG question” is either, “still contemplating the huge life-changing decision” or more famously – “do I need a title to make a difference?”
It seems to me these statements are more like her “I can’t announce right here and now” rebuttal – and it’s absolutely brilliant. She keeps the world guessing, gives the media the runaround, and formulates a strategy to give her competitors the shock of their life.
The purpose of this verbiage is to create an atmosphere for complete and total surprise. It’s her “poker face,” her “expressionless face,” a face without any interpretable expression – as that of a good poker player, someone who doesn’t show any emotion of reaction so that people don’t know what they are planning.
Tonight Governor Palin spoke with Judge Napolitano on the Fox Business Channel. When asked about her plans for 2012 she replied, “You know, I hold my political cards close to my chest, I’ve certainly learned lessons along those lines and I’m going to continue to do that until I’m ready to make an announcement – this is a serious decision and I’m engaged in serious deliberations and within the next 24 hours don’t look for me to make a decision.”
All I have to say is, remind me never to play a hand of poker with the Governor.

Well, he needs one, that's for sure. I've rarely seen a poster so single mindedly obsessed with railing against Palin. It's my guess that he's slimed 98% of Palin threads posted on FR over the last year. It's lunacy.
I'm sorry, but that's an indicator of some sort of deep psychological issue. Dunno.....maybe he just needs a woman. He sure needs something.
Serious question. If you wanted to reach the “Wal Mart” people who never think about politics, never vote and have no idea who you are, what would you do to get their attention and make yourself known? Sarah’s Alaska was a stroke of genius.

I don't know......I'm reading their new tone as one of desperation and panic. Tonight, someone with a terminal case of PDS claimed that we have no rational arguments to support Palin, and that we've all resorted to ad hominem and childish attacks. Huh?
That's a whole new talking point (and a reversal of reality). I'll have to see if the rest of them start spouting it.
Whoever these guys are secretly shilling for, it's pretty clear that things aren't looking all that good for them. The race looks like a tossed salad right now. It's in a state of disarray, with candidates impaling themselves on their own words, running out of money, sinking in the polls, trying to suddenly reshape their messages. What a mess.
If I were Palin surveying this battle field, it might look like a good time to come in and overwhump all of them with shock and awe. But, that's just me. I'm done second guessing Sarah. Her instincts on these things have proven far better than mine. She'll move when the time is best for her.

So, what has she been all these past 6 months or so that you have been dumping on her every chance you get?
What a crock to come in here acting like all of a sudden, you can’t support her.... that stance is really no different for you now than it was last month, is it? Because to you, she’s always been unsupportable and her inactivity and mixed messages have had nothing to do with it. Pffft!
Ha! You don’t anything about Sun Tzu then or The Art of War.... a huge facet of the AoW is having your enemy underestimate you AND he teaches to create an appearance of confusion while being very organized behind the scenes....
