In case you were wondering, Sarah Palin has no plans to announce tomorrow whether she’ll run for president .

“This is a serious decision, and I’ve engaged in serious deliberations. So within the next 24 hours don’t look for me to make a decision,” she said, according to excerpts of an interview on Fox Business Network set to air tonight.

Many may have decided, but not most. There is a strong anti-romney sentiment among conservatives. Right one, romney is the biggest obstacle in getting a conservative in the WH. We need someone that can unite the conservative faction of the GOP. Perry and MB have fizzled and now romney is in position to gain momentum. Perhaps Cain, Santorum or even Gingrich can take command. Or, Sarah can ride in and inject the enthusiasm needed to unite the conservative base. She has already received so much negative media from the Leftist press that it is hard to envision that they could do more damage without transforming her into a sympathetic victim. If she gets in and shines in the debates, it will be difficult to stop her.

You still have plenty Cain and Perry supporters...

IMO they will treat Palin like Bachmann, her stance on Social issues...

Abortion
Homosexuality
Christian Faith
DADT
Gay Marriage
What kind of wife and mother she is....

I think Bachmann blew it when she backed down on the homosexul issues, not sure if Palin would...

The left weill hammer any Conservtive Woman to death who is running for President....

I think Cain has a good chance..
After listening to these debates I would like to see Cain/Gingrich

No matter what Newt isn’t, he is smart on how to deal with the White House and Foreign Policy....

Age and Experience does count for something I believe...

What this is coming down to is who can take down romney before it’s too late. If romney can continue to divide his opposition, he will win.

Sun Tzu was added to the list some time ago.

This is an ongoing list of historical, popular, and Biblical people, as well as fictional characters and animals that Sarah Palin™ has been compared to on FR:

She refuses to be defined by those who have no liking for her.

What date is she going to announce?? Well, I can't answer that but be assured I will be watching for her at 8 p.m. EDT a week from Monday. It's the night before a full moon and she just might appear. You betcha!

(and on that day, lots of others will be watching for her too!)

Would he have done better, do you think, if he was competing with Palin last week?

Obviously she would have picked up some of those Florida straw poll votes. The problem is that the longer we wait for Palin, the more power Romney has over the rest. He will have access to boatloads of money (way more than Palin). Cain, on the other hand, won on merits, but the media (e.g. DC newsradio) said that it was a protest vote and Cain had no financial support so he is not viable.

isn’t it disturbing how uninformed but zealous some folks here are about simple facts like filing deadlines?

watching this sort of ignorance unfold reminds me how the French Revolution unraveled

lol..I love it but you must be a Yankee

there was a thread devoted to her last week as Robert E Lee and Stonewall Jackson

at Fredericksburg as an analogy I think

she doesn;t run I will be pissed and resentful ...3 years of coy doesn;t sit well with this alpha

the planets have aligned for her and she dawdles like a girl waiting for the best prom date

we cannot waste this opportunity to nominate a social conservative who has a great chance to win in a less demographically friendlly electorate (thanks immigration)..I have never seen a better time for a social righty than right now in my 54 solar revolutions

she has just a few weeks left...this ain't 1979

that Greta interview was painful to watch...I think something has happened...my hunch is the probable McGinniss lies scared her...if she doesn't run

She may not do anything in the next 24 hours, but thanks to Florida’s bump of the date to January 31st, and Iowa now looking at January 2nd or 9th. The filing deadlines just became mid October. She has only 14 days now to run or not.

The early primaries are show primaries. Few delegates are awarded.

If they meant anything, Patrick J. Buchanan would have been President.

What was said on that "shackled by a title" interview was the Mother of All Hints.

I think it's pretty clear that Sarah will in the thick of things in a Presidential race as much as Stonewall Jackson was in the thick of things in the battle after Chancellorsville.

Face it, Waywardson, once the delusions have reached such a degree of magnitude that they can no longer differentiate between the importance of the State of Florida (the 4th highest state population in the United States with a population of 18.5 million) and New Hampshire (population of 1.3 million) the degree of delusion has truly "Jumped the Shark".

” Sarah Palin is strong enough to win as an independent.”

NOBODY ALIVE is strong enough to win as an independent.

Nor in my 57 solar revolutions. Palin ain’t it. Those running right now make want to run for a bottle of Maalox. Cain is the only one I like, and nobody wants to help him. The RNC ignores him, as does the MSM.
