Fla. Rep. Allen West was asked if President Obama is just inept or if he is intentionally harming the economy. West says he’s definitely doing this on purpose.

He’s not an idiot..he is a Marxist who does not believe in free enterprise. Period.
The trouble is..we don’t have enough honest people in congress to fight the battle. They are too easily bought off with petty cash.
We need a real conservative as President to use the full powers of the Executive to thwart a corrupt congress and undo the damage.
I believe that national security is the most important problem our country is facing today. One of the major threats is radical Islamism, and its goal to kill us and to destroy our nation. If you think our country is in economic trouble now, you’ll see even greater chaos if we experience another terrorist attack like 9/11. A president with business experience will not be enough to save us.
Is any one else here seriously concerned about the overthrow of so many Middle East and African countries in the past year? Egypt, Libya Syria, etc? Has Obama’s tenure emboldened the rebels? Will all of the new governments be ruled by Sharia Law and the tenets of Islam?
I do not believe that all Muslims are evil. Absolutely not! But it is difficult to determine who supports us and who wants us dead.
We need an individual who is willing to identify the evil confronting us and who has the intestinal fortitude to meet them head-on; someone who has come face to face with the enemy and does not fear them. In my opinion, that person is Allen West. I am still hoping that Sarah Palin will decide not to run but instead give her support to Allen West.
I think the plan is to have enough people dependent on government that they are hooked - this is the stated intent with Obamacare. That plus the cheating and he must figure he can worm his way into POTUS for life.
You're absolutely correct. We've seen the way Obama gets legislation to pass when he has majorities in both Houses; we've also seen his strategy to get "emergency" bills through when he doesn't. He goes in front of the American people, and presents a crisis, whether real, or mostly manufactured.
If the unemployment rate continues to rise, and the economy continues to falter, there will come a day when he presents his "Emergency Takeover" plan for the entire US economy. Many might scoff, but there will be the down-trodden and MSM who will go along with it. His goal is to "prove" capitalism doesn't work, and that central planning is best. It will all be attempted under the guise of an emergency.

Since he has been in power, he has actively worked to destroy our capitalist system.
He has been working to empower radical groups like STORM and ACORN, the democrat party unions, the muslim brotherhood and the nacro cartels in Mexico.
This is the most dangerous man we have ever had in the White House. His intentions are to destroy us from within and so far he is succeeding.
What’s really scary is that these people aren’t acting on the fly. All their actions had to been planned out way before he was elected. The big wigs in the democrat party knew this. His media knew this and they said nothing. And these are American citizens who planned out all this destruction of their own country.

One of his 0bamunist sympathizers, Gov Perdue from NC has suggested that to iron out the economy. congressional elections be "postponed". The next thing will be that we don't need to have Presidential elections and the already illegal usurper would remain for life. It's no wonder firearms and ammunition sales are way up!

You should try reading “Witness” by Whittaker Chambers if you really want to lose some sleep at night. He was one of them.
Obama would say he is not trying to destroy the economy, only make it more fair. Because some have made more money than others our economy is “unfair”.
Since it is impossible to make the economy “fair” with everyone having equal things, attempting to make it fair will destroy the economy.
I think he and his fellows really believe they are smart enough to pull it off, even though no one ever has in the history of the world.
So he is doing it intentionally but out of a delusional view of his own abilities. When it fails, as it will, he and his fellows will blame everyone else but they will never hold themselves responsible because they had good intentions but the whole country was selfish and didn’t sacrifice enough to bring about prosperity.
But whether he is doing it intentionally or he is incompetent hardly matters. The results are the same.

Have you read Witness? Because he breaks with the Communists about 1/3 of the way into the book and becomes..........a Christian! The polar opposite of a communist is a Christian, isn’t that fascinating?
It does sound like I should read blacklisted by history, though. I will put it on my list.
One thing that really creeped me out about Witness though was the line in the book about that in any town, at any time, someone could be snatched off the street, disappeared.
I already read Chambers’ book, before I read I read, Blacklisted by History.

I swear there is no way that Roosevelt could not have known what was going on. In the Chambers’ book, he mentions that he went to the home of some government official and told his whole story about the communist infiltration of the US government, and that the man called Roosevelt before he ever left the house, and nothing came of it.
Several things:
1. This very topic: that he has planned to introduce government dependence on a widespread scale (Obamacare, debt spending, unlimited unemployment extensions). The notion of 'creating jobs' was never going to happen, and was never the goal.
2. His training - the people he's sat at the feet of while growing up. You could (certainly) argue that his are the actions of a puppet, perhaps, but he's implementing their tactics.
3. None of his Presidential actions are accidents - they are plans being enacted to specifically reward his supporters and perpetuate the Democrat party (Porkulus, other 'stimulus', class warefare, F&F?)
Now yeah, TOTUS is hardly a "Presidential-quality Communicator" -- he can't make real speeches, he rambles on presser answers because he's trying not to give any direct answers to questions -- but that doesn't mean there isn't an agenda or that he's marching to it.
I contrast Obama with Jimmy Carter because Carter had all the appearances of simply being overwhelmed by the job and not having a clue how to get out of it. Obama, however, is a true believer and believes his ways are right and true.
The error, however, is that I believe Obama over-reached and under-estimated the backlash. Having a GOP/Tea Party Congress has slowed his train, and he's still trying to figure how to cope with this.
Thanks for that announcement, Rep. West. We’ve been saying that for four years now on Free Republic. Hope for a hand out and Change from a bountiful Republic to Evil Communism.
