You’re exactly right. Ed has some skeletons in his closet. They aren’t named Larry Sinclair, but something similar. I’m amazed that he can still be blackmailed about this—I mean, he’s 86, whatever happened must have been a long time ago. But clearly they twisted his arm somehow, and blackmail is the most obvious explanation.

Mario Cuomo’s campaign furiously denied posting handbills in NYC that read “VOTE FOR CUOMO, NOT THE HOMO”.
