Absolutely amazing, 9 days after Ed Koch said in an Op-Ed in the NYDN
"If he [Obama] doesn't read the tea leaves and change his position, you can be certain I will continue to bang my drum. I will campaign against him not only in New York, but in other parts of the country next year."
Well today, Ed Koch endorsed Obama for president in 2012. I'd love to know what went on behind the scenes
It turns out that failed New York congressional candidate David Weprin and former NYC Mayor Ed Koch have more in common than many people thought.
Koch, 86, backed Republican Bob Turner in the special election to fill disgraced Democrat Anthony Weiner’s old seat. Koch repeatedly said while campaigning with Turner he wanted to “send a message” to the White House on Israel.
Message received, apparently. Koch endorsed President Barack Obama today.
In an email sent to supporters and obtained by Politico, Koch says he is backing the president for recent moves regarding Israel.

Does he mean the “change of heart” where Obama attacked Israel for letting it’s citizens build homes for themselves in their ancestral capital? Or where he said he was very dissappointed in Israel? Or where he made little effort to vocalize how horribly bad the idea was to give Palistine statehood when they wanted to destroy isreal?
Or maybe it was when Obama mistakenly used the word Jew instead of Janitor.

Rather than Koch support Obambi opposition in a primary, or to support a Republican against this asshat living in our White House, Koch would rather do the Jewish lemming scamper with the dummycrats.
The man was an idiot when he way mayor of NYC.

Ed made Obama crawl back some, but if Obama is reelected he won’t remain pro Israel. Koch will rue the day.

Well Ed probably got a little “alone time” with Obummer for his support. Ed has a questionable history as does Obummer. If he were still alive, Larry Sinclair would agree.
The only worthwhile thing he ever did was keep Robert Moses from putting a highway through Greenwich Village. After that it was all downhill.
Oh and supported Bob Turner. I wonder now if that isn’t doing more harm than good if it is leading the swing voters back to Obama.
