The latest ad from the Rick Perry camp nails Mitt Romney on a charge that has haunted him during his entire political career; namely, flip-flopping and being inconsistent on issues depending on who he happened to be talking to at any given moment. Take a look.
Mitt Romneys Race to the Flop
The Romney camp tries explaining the flip by changing the subject, which they have been able to do fairly successfully throughout the campaign so far. But The flip-flopper charge is probably the most damaging to Romney because it gets at the level of trust and character, and whether voters can trust him to do what he says he will do if elected president. For instance, Romney says now that he is a firm believer in the 2nd Amendment, but he has flipped on that issue in a big way. He has flipped on abortion, and even on whether Ronald Reagan was good for the country. The governor who signed RomneyCare into law now says he would issue an executive order undoing ObamaCare on his first day in office, but what is there in his record that provides any sense that he would actually follow through with that? Mainly, a record of being on more than one side of a whole lot of issues.
Perrys Race to the Flop ad drops a new bucket down the well of Romneys flip-flopping record. And thats a very deep well.
IF you'd rather NOT be pinged FReepmail me.
IF you'd like to be added FReepmail me. Thanks.

Watch closely, every time Romney does this Perry makes a funny face... it's because he knows that Mitt just lied, and he knows that he just got ammo for his next anti-mitt commercial.
For those of you who may not know, the Presidency-5 Straw Poll was not like most other straw polls. You know, the kind where young children are allowed to vote, where folks in attendance are allowed to vote showing no ID or voter registration or where young college kids are bused in by a campaign to vote for a candidate.
Here are the rules that were followed for the Presidency 5 Straw Poll in Orlando.
1. Every delegate had to apply in their local Florida county to be selected as a delegate by this past June,2011.
2. Every delegate had to be a registered Florida Republican since last February, 2011.
3. Every delegate had to pay $175 to be a delegate.
4. The number of delegates selected from each Florida County depended on the number of registered Republicans in that County based on a % basis.
5. The minimum number of delegates from any Florida County was 8 delegates.
6. Every delegate had to sign in at Presidency 5 with their delegate form and photo ID.
7. Delegate voting took place between a designated time period, ie, 4:30-6:00PM Saturday, September 24, 2011.
Let’s discuss the subject of the thread which is Perry’s ad and Mitten’s flip flopping. I heeded your request on a Cain thread so heed mine.
The video in Romney’s own words is brilliant. Every voter needs to see it.
How anyone can trust this guy is completely lost on me.
I can’t even believe when one says...I am a conservative and I like Mittens am voting for him.
thanks for posting this.
i printed out your comment for my wife and she’s reading it this moment.
Sorry. Missed it. With media trying to make Romney the one to beat, I went ahead with the facts about the P-5 poll.
Those rules are why the Ron Paul crowd (or any other) was unable to spam this poll.
I saw them on Ron Paul Forums bemoaning the fact that the rules didn’t allow them to “bus people in” and that the cost was also to high for them to “overwhelm” the poll.
It’s good!!!
But the song soundtrack with is terribly distracting.
I enjoyed watching both videos at the online link you provided.
It was certainly a current reminder of all the things throughout the yeas that make us unable to trust Mitt Romney.
PS, I also think this venue is one GREAT way for Perry to punch back at Romney.
Additionally, it gives the next debate moderators a few little questions for Mitt now too!
OH...not for us we are multitask folks...that’s what I liked about the video. It has made me watch it more than one time and each time I get more out of the flip flopping video. But Perry’s new ad video doesn’t have music. The other video didn’t come from Perry’s Team. It is something Bryan Preston put in his article.
I like the “race to the top one” — and I knew Romney was playing “stupid” in the debate.

I cannot believe Romney has not been called out on this.
Dang!
I agree...I am hoping Perry can step it up and expose all of this to a large audience of people.
Even if Perry is not as conservative as some would like, if he can take down Romney, he will become a personal hero of mine.
