..[Piers] Morgan asked Moore about his opposition to capitalism, especially given Moore's financial success as a filmmaker. When asked if his movie-making amounted to a capitalist endeavor, Moore replied "Is it really?" He then noted that "the only reason I do well is because people want to see my movies," before indicting the modern financial system as a corruption of capitalism, a "shell game."
As Moore concluded his remarks on capitalism, he said that "it's not American." Additionally, he said "it's not Christian or Jewish," after citing 46 million poor people that Moore believes the capitalist economic system neglects. "None of the major religions, in fact they all," Moore said, "say it's one of the worst sins you could commit, is to take such a large piece of the pie while others suffer."

2 Corinthians 9:7
Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

The phrase pot calling kettle black applies here, considering how many millions he earned from the "documentaries" he made....

(*facepalm*)
Let me try that:
BP Oil Exec: "The only reason I do well is because people want to buy my oil."
Coca-Cola Exec: "The only reason I do well is because people want to buy my cola."
Pardon me, but: isn't that almost a text-book definition of "capitalism"? Maybe it's just me...

It’s capitalism for him.
Marxism for us.
He confuses christian giving to charity with forcing people to give to government programs

(because you're really full of it to the gills.)

Mr. Moore is one of the last people I would take advice on regarding religion, especially Christianity.
...he said "it's not Christian or Jewish," after citing 46 million poor people that Moore believes the capitalist economic system neglects. "None of the major religions, in fact they all," Moore said, "say it's one of the worst sins you could commit, is to take such a large piece of the pie while others suffer."
It is not the place of government to tend to the poor, Christ told his disciples to remember the poor, not once chiding the Pharisee's or Rome for not doing so. Further sin is personal, so it is a non-sequitor to say that taking a 'larger piece of the pie' is sinful. If that were so, Micheal would be one of the greatest of sinners since he obviously has taken a larger piece of the pie, in more than one sense of the word.

It’s been long said that, in general,
the lower class are Democrats
the middle class (ie, “bourgeoisie”) are Republican
and the wealthy are Communists.
