Joe McGinniss complained to lefty blog Firedoglake yesterday that almost everyone is canceling interviews in which he was to have discussed his book, The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin:
Terry Gross [of NPR's Fresh Air] has declined to have me on her show. As have all other NPR shows. My fifteen seconds as part of a report on All Things Considered is all I get from NPR. Im told they are scared of losing more federal funding if right wing Congresspeople complain that they are promoting my book.
FYI, both Morning Joe and Keith Olbermann had me booked for last week, but canceled when they saw which way the wind was blowing.

Glad this seems to be blowing up. Still, a local news reading bimbo reported that “now we have the true facts about Sarah Palin” and proceeded to list a few of these alleged facts. So some are still passing around the koolaid.

You know it's bad when the Bolsheviks turn their backs on one of their own.
If this guy has any brains at all, he will avoid ever being alone with Todd Palin.

Usually liberals wallow in this type of 'literary' hatred expressed toward conservatives - especially hatred expressed toward conservative women and children...
Are they finally seeing themselves as bullies?
It's odd thinking of liberals being capable of shame... not what we associate with arrogant elitists...

Hope he doesn't get the libel dodge because she's a public figure. First she needs to take all of the money from the book, then she can take the rest of his net worth. Hope Joe came back to a warm clime. Really s_cks to push a homeless shopping cart through the snow banks up there.

I think he passed the threshold for libel of a public figure because there are emails that show that he knew some of his items in the book could not be proven or verified, and he was warned not to use them
At least I hope I understood this correctly.
I hope Todd kicks his ass too.

People like Olbermann and Rachel Maddow love to attack Sarah Palin. They would like nothing better than to help McGinnis attack her.
There must be a legal/credibility problem and insiders know McGinniss’s book is going to be proved to be lies. Maybe the lawyers for Crown publishing are involved in this. My guess are the Palin’s are getting people McGinnis talked to recount their actuaal experiences with him in signed affidavids.
McGinnis attacked Sarah's family. He attacked Sarah's mother. He said her oldest son Track had problems with cocaine, oxycontin, booze, and weed.
My hope is that Sarah truly is a mama grisly and she destroys this guy and everyone who helps him.
To: Bigtigermike
I think the reason they are running away is the e-mails Big Hollywood got hold of where this excuse for a writer admitted he had no proof for what he wrote in his book. They know they could get sued if they pushed something that they know are just made up. Now I know they do this all the time, but there normally is not someone who started the allegations admitting to being a liar.

“Are they finally seeing themselves as bullies? “
They will always think of themselves as victims—not bullies. But this guy was so overboard that even the idiots on the View looked embarrassed by his appearance on their program.
