Thank you, Cindy - I keep thinking of Eric Clapton’s song, which he wrote after his son’s death (several years after my own son’s death, many years ago.)

Tomorrow is the anniversary of that loss - and the pain will always be there - even tho I know he is now ‘whole’ and with Our Lord:

Yorkie, the pain never truly goes away when you lose a Loved One, it just hides until holidays and special times roll around. It’s been 22 years since Jeremy was taken from me. 7 years since Dennis went ‘home’. And I still grieve their loss to this day, just not as intense as in the beginning.

I have to cling to the promise that one day I will stroll over Heaven with them and all the Loved Ones who have gone on before me.
