Yesterday I wrote a vignette in jest suggesting what New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie might be yelling at his TV during the GOP debate. Unlike his alter-ego in my vignette, the real Bill Kristol did not call Christie to plead nor drive over to his house to urge him to get into the race. Instead he used his Web site , figuratively speaking, to run over Texas Gov. Rick Perry with an 18-wheeler and drive through Christie’s living room window:

I didn’t say she was Reagan.... but, liberal tactics don’t change....which is my point. Also, the similarities between Reagan and Palin undeniable. Mostly on the way people treat them and react them...AND their ability to connect with the American average Joe
With Perry's mystifying inability to articulate, he's only helping Romney and he's got enough help already.
There may be an opening for someone else but it's looking alarmingly like Romney's to lose.
I don't know that another entrant can help, rather than make a bad situation worse.
Absolutely, but I would feel more disappointed in our Country, if the only candidates we can field are Socialist and Socialist light.
This election is not about defeating Obama, it is about saving the Republic, and electing the same old crowd will only slow things down slightly.

No, Perry think that if the federal government is going to force the state of TX to allow these illegal aliens to be here, it is cheaper to educate and have them as taxpaying members of society rather than a drain on the public wefare system.
[Perry also calls the rest of us “heartless’, who are against the illegal invasion.]
He did not. He said it is heartless to allow them to be here living in the state of TX and not allow them to pay the same in-state tuition as all other students graduating form TX high schools.

Perry agrees with Mexico’s President on open borders.
“President Fox’s vision for an open border is a vision I embrace, as long as we demonstrate the will to address the obstacles to it.”
If you think he doesn’t know what he’s saying with the open boarders comment you had better do some research on the North American Union.
He was really really bad last night. I think Perry’s collapse is just starting, a lot of people were surprised at the immigration answer and the general lack of grasp on many subjects
It was one stupid debate. Not a big deal unless people just hate Perry (like the dems). The election is over a year away.
