Factor in that Sarah is headed to S. Korea as a speaker from Oct 10-13. She cannot enter, say, Oct 9 and then leave the country the next day - so what's the appropriate amount of time to be stateside after jumping in? Florida and S. Carolina deadlines are 10/31 and 11/1. Seems to me an entry would happen by the end of Sept (in the next week), and not left for return from Korea. Also, part of the timing is to let Perry collapse based on the real-Perry. After last night, we may be seeing the bottoming of Perry's initial surge.
Great video. It really captures, in pictures, why people like her.
This is really getting so 5 minutes ago.
I don't know when NY is exactly, but I know its AFTER 11/1. South Carolina and Florida are around halloween, and I know the two of them are first in filing deadlines.
“...there seems to be something in the GOP primary DNA that tilts the table to those who have run before.”
Huh? Did you forget about ‘08?
“... Palin will win. ZERO chance. She is a package deal. It will not only be her words and behavior monitored, but her familys as well. There is a current video of Bristol riding a bull and getting into a confrontation with a guy about her mother. The man was off the wall...”
In this day and age, I disagree. I think the media image you describe enhances the package of a family that gets out there and lives life to the fullest, makes some mistakes but picks themselves up and moves on, and keeps on trying.
The days when politicians can sweep things under the rug, and pretend, and worry the moral majority will vote against you because your daughter went to a bar while in college are fading fast.
If you are worried about what the media and the leftists are going to do to you as a candidate, you might as well surrender.
Huh? Did you forget about 08?”
Uh, no. I was using 08 as Exhibit “A”.
Did you forget about 2000?
Sarah Palin is a caucus teaser.
It's like watching a bunch of 10 year olds fight. I'm waiting for the, "Well my Dad can beat up your Dad" moment.
Palin would be a fool to accept such an offer.
Ha! Very good. I concur wholeheartedly.
IOWA CAUCUS: No deadlines and no paperwork filed, no signatures collected. The Caucus is currently scheduled on February 6th, 2012. So Gov. Palin could declare candidacy on February 5th, 2012 and still be able to participate.
Some of the Filing Deadlines I could find...right now it looks like South Carolina is earliest deadline.
SOUTH CAROLINA: Nov 1, 2011
TEXAS: Dec 12, 2011
ALABAMA: Dec 14th, 2011
NEVADA: Mar 12, 2012
Some require signatures for example
PENNSYLVANIA: Feb 14th, 2012 filing deadline with 2000 signatures required
NEW YORK is currently set for an April 24th primary. I cannot find a filing deadline.
Well said.... all of it.
I wonder about that poll that says she shouldnt run. I wonder how many of those think she shouldnt run because they dont like seeing her and her family go through the MSM dirty tricks. Maybe they would, from their own personal preferences, just rather see her enjoy her newly acquired wealth and enjoy her family and life like they would if they were her.
It does not list the date for Florida, which I believe is the earliest: 10/31. But, I've lost the link that corroborates that...
October of what year?
Unfortunately media image carries a lot of weight. If you are a liberal your comments might be true, but as a conservative a whole different set of rules. Come on, you have to realize that? The most recent Bristol incident could demonstrate that the Palin family keeps making mistakes and has not learned after 4 years of constant microscopic dissection. If by now they have not learned to ignore and walk away, but to encounter and exacerbate, it maybe be a lost cause. Every where Bristol goes she will now be confronted with some one trying to get a reaction because of this incident. Giving Sarah the nomination is waving the white flag. The media and libbies will have all the ammo they need to beat us. I’d rather take my chances with a Cain, Romney or Perry.
Thank You for doing the research.
