I don’t know if I’ll watch. I am disheartened by Romney making such big gains in the polls out this week. I just can’t stand Romney. The thought of him as our nominee makes me feel sick. I will not work or donate to his campaign, and will have a really tough time voting for him.
I hope Perry is on his game tonight, and is better prepared for the attacks that are sure to come his way. I hope he doesn’t play the part of the pinata again tonight like in the last 2 debates. Will be interesting to see if Bachmann continues to fling mud for Romney tonight.
I’m, still, waiting for the day where ALL POLITICAL IDEOLOGIES, including truly apolitical individuals, are involved with being moderators and panelists, in all future debates, from now on! Get Rush Limbaugh, Michael Savage,...to be panelists at all future: GOP Presidential Debates, Democratic Party Debates, Third Political Party Debates,...Stop having the left, always, control the balk of each and every debate, asap!
Really? I'll be watching for sure.
So will I, but just for political reasons of course.
Perry needs to bring it. At least for this round.
As far as good story tension development matters, Perry will have to take another beating or so...coming back each time...and then in the climax...nearly beaten to death...he must arise from near death (the ole Rocky resurrection scene) to come back in a determined rage of punches to win.
Dramatic? YES! Realistic? We'll see!
It is disheartening isnt it. With all the change in Washington people profess they all go back to a comfort that is belch!! I want a real change a shake up. Im tired of people picking the one for me. grrr

Who cares bout the debate........
That is a really bad picture of Megyn.
Photo shopped...but who cares.
Romney is gaining because Perry is getting hammered by our fellow conservatives. It’s unbelieveable that God, our Second Amendment rights, the right to life and love of country are taking a back seat to Gardisil and immigration. Of course immigration is a major issue but I believe we can work with Perry on this. With obama we don’t stand a chance.
Perry is a rino. When will some of you figure this out? How about getting behind a real conservative?
Who do you recommend?
That is a really risky strategy. I really don’t see the point.
Since you have "Girl" in your handle, I'll assume that you are not judging the picture on the same stuff I am.
Somewhere I read Perry was at the last Bilderberg meeting. Anyone know if that is confirmed...?
If Perry had come out too strong initially, he runs the risk of looking like a bully...particularly in responding to attacks by Bachmann.
Decent folks expect a gentleman to take a few blows from a lady...and then respond gently.
From a man like Mitt, Perry still (since he is from Texas) needs to take a few blows before coming back.
Not risky at all...anything else is risky.
***Of course immigration is a major issue but I believe we can work with Perry on this.***
I truly admire Perry’s ability to admit when he is wrong or has made mistakes. That’s unusual in politics. He has the reputation of being a fighter, but not a bully. Even his former adversaries appear to like him. Changing from a Democrat to Republican shows growth and humility too.
He’s taking heat for some of his questionable decisions - as he should. You notice he’s not blaming anyone else;)
Yep, the polls are puzzling to some, but it’ll come down to the actual vote, and I don’t see the same order as millions of Conservative and TEA Party voters filter out the ranks.
Perry was asked to give a keynote speech back in 2007 IIRC. He is not a member.
I think our “fellow conservatives” are precisely the ones who destroyed Bush, although I have always thought there were a lot of Dem trolls on the anti-Bush threads who revved up the old guys at their keyboards.
There were a lot of things Bush did that I didn’t agree with, because I thought he was intimidated by the Dem hostility over Iraq (which they initially supported) and then began sucking up to liberals.
But we have to remember that we can disagree with somebody on something...and then be able to present our positions and argue for them and make suggestions.
Instead, we had the anti-immigration idiots referring to “Jorge Bush” and offering absolutely no suggestions of their own except machine guns at the border, even though the biggest immigration problems we have had have been LEGAL immigrants from Muslim countries who hate us and are trying to destroy us.
So why didn’t these people offer their own suggestions? Because they are either Dem trolls, or they’re elderly keyboard kommandos without any suggestions.
If people want to attack a candidate’s positions, they should do that but have some idea of what would be their solution - and then be prepared to discuss it. Otherwise, this will be done entirely by other people, and believe me, nobody here (including me) is going to like it.
In short, the word is “grow up, people” (no matter how old you are).
