“I never said anything about teaching them a lesson.”
No, not you - but it’s not rare to see that sentiment expressed here, overtly or implied.
Yer busted.
Well said.
You still put it out there (with no disclaimer) so that gives you some responsibility for the sensationalism.
Do you not read the articles you post?
I know Paulbots like to nip and nip and nip and get the last word, so I'm going to let you have that.
Make it a good one! :-)

Sorry to disagree. Santorum is like that kid back in school that would sense what a teacher was looking for as a response to a question to the class and jump up and say exactly what she wanted to hear; whether he believed it or not. He is nothing but a political prostitute, IMO, who wants to get back into making big bucks after losing his Senate seat in PA.

Really? I didn’t get that sense at all with Santorum... especially when he had to field that politically sensitive question from the gay military soldier. He also mixed it up with Perry and Huntsman by unequivocally disagreeing with their views. I didn’t hear Santorum say anything during the debate that he hasn’t said before, nor did I ever get the sense he was trying to deliver politically correct answers that everyone supposedly wants to hear. So how exactly is he “prostituting” himself (which is a rather harsh description) in your eyes?
I'm neither a lawyer, nor a nanny-stater. I don't do "disclaimers" Need help, call your mommy.
BiBi said nothing he has not already said many times in the past....he played his card right by not insighting any further discord then there already is as his nation is at risk if he comes off too strong at this juncture with the UN. Further his audiance was not engaged with him for the most part...they made their choice prior to stand with Abbass and that was clearly evident. Bottom line whatever the outcome BiBi knows Israel stands alone now....Obama certainly will do no more than "speak"...I'd go so far as to say Obama would let the whole thing esculate and let the chips fall where they may...that is why Obama is one dangerous individual...he won't interfer to stop a thing.
The frequency which you make this claim seems to indicate you'll ride with waterever candidate is ahead and haven't much interest in vetting them to determine which one is BEST to serve as President of this great nation.
Perry is the one intially who established those sancutuary cities....it's to his political advantage now to oppose them.
Nothing against the man but he's way back in the pack. Be happy to see him move up.
“The frequency which you make this claim seems to indicate you’ll ride with waterever candidate is ahead and haven’t much interest in vetting them to determine which one is BEST to serve as President of this great nation.”
And your statement seems to indicate that you know absolutely nothing about me but are more than willing to make blanket assumptions. Just so we’re clear...I want the best we can get (per my opinion, not yours) but I WILL VOTE FOR ANYONE RUNNING AGAINST OBAMA.
no, he is not. he just placed top 3 in zogby among others. nice try though
Not in terms of preferences but in terms of perceptions that are readily dispersed. Here's how:
Be happy to see him move up.
This nation is about self-government. That means whether he moves up is up to us. As far as I am concerned as well as many of the FReepers here, Cain is the most able person in the group (including Palin). Unfortunately, he trails the Party/media anointed due to that classic RINO battle cry muttered against any conservative candidate (including Reagan), "He can't win," at which conservatives, desperate for a victory are expected to go crawling back into their corner to suck their thumbs. Yet anyone with a functioning brain knows that a credible and capable conservative nominee would have every chance of beating our pompous idiot Telepromptinator-in-chief. Hence, this statement of yours is also incredible.
Allow me to correct it thusly:
Be happy to move him up.
See how easy that is? Now please join us in making it a reality.
I rest my case.
“I rest my case.”
You do that. Your “case” is apparently whatever you tell yourself it is.
It is Perrys position that it if the federal Gov will not allow Texas to deport them and the Fed Gov will not seal the border, Then it behooves Texas to educate them if they meet certain requirements.
He also feels that it is wrong to punish kids who are trying to do the right thing just because their PARENTS broke the law.
I know that is not the popular view, but Perry is just trying to make lemonade from lemons.
I appreciate your thorough review. I listened to some debate clips on Medved’s radio show today, along with his take, and it was pretty much the same as yours, with Cain coming in a second to Romney. Wow.
As soon as I learned about and heard Johnson’s comment, I disliked it. He has no place there if all he has to offer is juvenile potty “humor.” Folks are laughing all over the internet and I don’t get it. We are currently suffering under a painfully laughable president, so let’s restore some intelligence and dignity. Good grief.
LOL... too funny. I do give her credit for giving it the old college try.
Thank you for your nice comments!
