Someone said that just before an election you can trust the polls, but the rest of the time they are mostly noise.
I still hope sarah enters the race, though.

That will come to an end after this evening. This is typical liberal baiting to get the GOP to nominate liberal RINO who Obotulism can beat. We ain’t buying it this time around libs.

After 4 years of running for potus, has Romney finally reached legitimacy and viability with the American people?

more say they would "definitely vote for" Obama (33%) than say this about either Romney (21%) or Perry (20%). That may reflect the virtual certainty that Obama will be the Democratic candidate for president, while Republicans' loyalties are divided between their two leading contenders.
That's correct. Once the GOP has a nominee, then the "definitely vote for" stat will rise dramatically.

This is what happens when the stage is filled with pansies at the debates. In all of them, no one bothered to slam and take on Romney and his awful record in MA. In some points, I wonder if the 2nd and 3rd tier are not just up there to give Mittens cover so that they can get some sort of Ambassadorship or Cabinet job instead of winning for themselves.

Well, having twice enjoyed being the recipient of the efforts of the MPA (Mormon Protective Association), I can only hope that the whole country will have the chance to see how Mormons treat non-mormons.

Big media push for Romney recently. Feels like they are trying to first eliminate all but Perry from the equation, and then systematically take Perry apart bit by bit.

“might consider” is hardly a definitive category.
I “might consider” Bugs Bunny, but I actually doubt it.

Whatever, these fraking libtards are not picking our candidate this time *shakes head* We need a candidate that will embolden the base not keep them at home aka McCain. Independents won't swing the vote (compromise won't swing the vote). Stirring the sleeping giant (the conservative base) will swing the vote...PERIOD! Romney doesn't fit the bill....PERIOD!
So here's another lesson: be wary of cross-party alliances. Again and again, it is the lonely, cussed figures who stand outside the establishment orthodoxy who are vindicated over time.~Peter Oborne and Frances Weaver
Romney isn't it!

because most of them don't know that Romney is:
Pro abortion
Pro Tax hikes
Pro Government run healthcare
Pro Gay marriage
Pro Gun grabbing
and tons of other stuff, until he started running for president, at which point he flipped and flopped on each and every one of those issues.
But you haven't heard anything about it, because he got a free ride at all the debates before Perry, and everyone has been attacking Perry 24/7 exclusively since then.

Believe it or not there is a considerable number of “anybody but Obama” liberals because, hey,as much as they hate America they still gotta LIVE here and if Zero ain't stopped EVERYONE is going to be wrestling roaches for repasts.
Romney is the most liberal RINO who has a chance of winning,so they go for him.
If Obama gets a primary challenger like say,Hillary, they will throw Mitt like a fresh booger and love mob PIAPS.

This just makes me ill!
Part of the reason I am leaning Perry is because if the other candidates really gave a chit about ALL the issues, as they claim...they would take down Romney before Perry.
With Romney safely out of the race, or neutralized— THEN they could shine against Perry.
Their going after Perry before Romney hints to me that they are establishment Republicans. Party line first, then the issues.
