I’m a strong Palin supporter, because I believe that combatting crony capitalism is going to be a significant component of righting the careening American ship of state.
However, if it’s going to not be Palin (either by her choice or by that of the GOP voters), I will enthusiastically support Perry. Given the horrifically bad situation in our country, I think most of us - given the opportunity - would choose to live in Texas. That certainly speaks volumes for the guy who’s been Chief Executive there for the last decade plus.

Texas implemented a plan in Galveston on SS that has double the return.
I must admit that it could be toast now that Obama has destroyed the markets.

Perry is for secure borders and has said repeatably that the FEDs have our hands tied on the matter.

He has sued the Feds and lobbied the Feds for years on the matter.
He asked for more border patrol and for national guard as well as drones and funds for fencing

I don’t know about the banks, we do know that jobs are moving to Tx.
40% of the jobs in the nation

Tx is suing the **** out of the EPA.

Obama but a moratorium on drilling in the gulf and he has Lisa Jackson shutting down Coal mining as well as Coal fired electric plants.

Obama is raising energy costs while destroying jobs.
Perry has been on him like a duck on a june bug

[Well I suppose you felt the same way about Ronald Reagan’s ad.]

No, my point is that this IS Reagan’s ad, everyone can run the same thing.

What do you know now that you didn’t before? Obama is bad for business, Perry is pro American and for jobs? That doesn’t move the ball down the court.

I’m not saying it’s a bad ad production wise, but I just don’t see how it moves anyone one way or the other.

You don't have a clue about maraketing and advertising. Your argument is opointless...it's not the job of a 30-60 second ad to define policy. Sheesh!

They showed only the first half. Earlier today only the first half was shown, also. The second half is just as important. They should play the whole thing.

With high-tech hardware, you don’t need a fence. Technology can track people, a fence will not.

It’s a thirty-second ad. There was quite a bit in that ad for people to think about.

Yup, I’m cluless. Other than the time I spent helping start a TV station and then working for a PR firm and the time I spend marketing real estate and my meetimgs with marketing guys like at lunch today, I am completely clueless.

FOX should play the complete ad, as you posted it. They only played half of it. Although, that was free air time...LOL

I guess the campaign will buy time for them to play the complete ad. The contrast in just that snippet of time was excellent.
