Presidential hopeful Rick Perry hits hard at President Barack Obama in a powerful new ad that blames him for the nations economic decline and portrays the Texas governor as the nations rescuer who will create new jobs and put the country back on sound financial footing.
The online, 30-second spot tags Obama with the label President Zero as images of shuttered homes and empty businesses flash rapidly on the screen. Obama can be heard in an old speech proclaiming, We are headed in the right direction.
Fade to black and a second later, the faint sound of galloping hooves can be heard as the image of horses and an American flag appear on the screen.
The commercial touts Perrys service in the military for freedom, and advances him as a president who will lead the nation out of its economic crisis.
A great country requires a better direction; a renewed nation needs a new president . . . we dont need a president that apologizes for America, Perry says in the voiceover.
The United States of America really is the last great hope of mankind, he says, as images of Perry and Americans at work and play in better times roll by...

Great AD!!!!
That’s a good one!
I’m a numbers guy, so I would have added: Jobs Destroyed in America versus Jobs Created in Texas.
Otherwise, great stuff!
The truth hurts and ‘President Zero’ is the truth.
Good for Perry. With all this Perry bashing by the candidates, I almost forgot who we were really trying to defeat.
Great Ad...hard hitting and on target. America is tired of woosy talk....tell it like it is Rick!
Great ad.
Two observations about how clever it was. Notice the autographed Obama bag at the 33 second mark to taunt zeros celebrity presidency.
Also note later the boy making the American flag with sidewalk chalk. It is complete except the stars have not all been added. Great imagery of perhaps a young version of Rick Perry adding the importance of State rights back to America after Obama has taken them down with his federal primacy crap.
He just needed more screen time of those horses galloping in. Some powerful parts went by too quickly.
If that’s the official and actual Perry for President logo, I like it. If it isn’t it should be. The Red and Blue have deepened in tones of urgency and the white is just understated and minimal. It’s a very effective counter to the obvious RW&B from Obama’s last campaign ,and it will be his last, since the next one, should he run, will yield him roughly HALF the votes he got last time: the next one will be the biggest route in a century of electoral Presidential politics.Team Obama will be too embarrassed next time even to acknowledge the miserable numbers.
Did “0-bama” start out as a Rushism or a FRism?
Ric’s trying to act like Sarah, but he’s a paleface imitation.
It’s Todd, not Sarah, who is the part-Injun.
I have a question for all of the candidates, though. How are we going to get jobs back that have been sent overseas? What's the strategy, and what role does the government play in that strategy?
- Weaken the dollar? (That will add to inflation.)
- Cheaper energy? (That will take some time to get rolling.)
- Less regulations? (That will also face fights to implement at the state and local level, not just federal.)
- Tarrifs? (Retaliation risk.)
- Slice the size of government in half? (An army of liberal judges will fight that tooth and nail.)
I'm trying not to be a pessimist, I just know that this isn't just going to take one man or one woman in the White House to turn things around. We need to clear out all branches of government, at all levels.
And Todd is part Inuit.
I seriously doubt that.
Nobody commented on the Sophia Henninger video in the newsmax link; it benefited from ZERO quick cuts and only ONE image, an ongoing one, so you could keep your attention focused on, at most, only TWO things........

Wow! I love a president who LOVES America!
Well, I gotta say it. It’s a great ad.
Isn’t that the truth.
