Dean: Employers will drop coverage under Obamacare
Former Democratic National Committee Chairman, and doctor, Howard Dean backed a McKinsey & Co. survey today that found that almost a third of private-sector employers will drop their employee health insurance coverage when Obamacare's government-managed insurance exchanges come online.
Dean told Morning Joe, "The fact is it is very good for small business. There was a McKinsey study, which the Democrats don't like, but I do, and I think its true. Most small businesses are not going to be in the health insurance business anymore after this thing goes into effect."

That was the intent all along, plus putting insurance companies out of business..............shrink the pool, kill the companies...............
“The fact is it is very good for small business. There was a McKinsey study, which the Democrats don’t like, but I do, and I think its true. Most small businesses are not going to be in the health insurance business anymore after this thing goes into effect.”
What’s IT? obomacare or the fact that small businesses will drop insurance for their employees?
Hey, dumbo, the health insurance companies aren’t going to be in business anymore either!
Sure hope he practices medicine better than he speaks!
Right, the intent was to destroy the current system. Nothing but collapse is possible when you eliminate expenditure caps and require coverage for pre-existing conditions.
Watch for cities, counties and states to find “savings” by dumping their retirees and employees into the bummer care plan.
It will sink faster than the titanic. Such a legacy for our first half white president.
Would you go to that clown for your medical needs?
Exactly true.
Obama is not, as many here state, an idiot.
He’s a true believer.
He REALLY believes that socialism is the way to go, that income redistribution is fair and proper, that the U.S. has been a racist colonial power, that Americans are too well medicated, too warm in winter, too cool in summer, and too well-fed, and that Islam is the right religious path and Israel is a western colony in an arab land. He thinks that the Constiution is a cumbersome inconvenience and he has every right to forward his agenda outside its restrictions.
He would rather be voted out of office than not pursue those ideas.
But we think differently on every count - or at least SHOULD think differently on every count. Which makes me continually wonder how the hell he was ever elected.
If small businesses (or large ones for that matter), can't keep employees healthy--or their employees can't reasonably find healthcare on their own--business will suffer.
Perhaps in the short-term, businesses may realize smaller healthcare costs (having only to pay the "fines" for not insuring), but longer-term, the employees who can't get decent healthcare will become a huge expense.
Essentially he admits what we all know: the ultimate goal is single-payer, government-provided health care, with private providers driven to either collapse or become quasi-governmental entities.
...and then, the only way to “save” the Nation’s health care will be by implementing a “Single Payer System” (aka government controlled, socialized medicine).
You are 100% correct. “Obamacare” is working exactly as Mr. Obama and his handlers designed it to work...
Their employees will be hit hard, because they can’t afford insurance. Indeed, the intent is to create conditions that lead to single-payer. The Government gets to choose the insurance company that survives.
I don’t think the currency / economy will hold out long enough to implement single payer health care.
That is the whole point. Drive everyone to govt care cuz businesses can’t afford insurance under FoolSuckaCare.
Did you mean "half wit"?
Oh, I get it. Never mind...
Howlin’ Howie signaling the hard left....Single Payer is coming! Be patient!
