JEFF FLAKE ENDORSES ROMNEY: Arizona Rep. Jeff Flake will announce his support later this morning for Mitt Romney. Flake, who has a record as a leading fiscal conservative in the House, is now running for the Senate and expected to win both the nomination and general election. Arizona has become way more important since officially moving its primary up to February 28, so this is a great get.
From Flakes statement: Mitt Romney has the experience and vision to get our country on the right path again. Whether it was his time as governor or as a successful businessman, Mitt Romney has shown that he has the economic knowledge to create the environment for businesses to start hiring again.

His last name is appropriate for this endorsement.
“leading fiscal conservative in the House”
Is he?
Birds of a feather.
He’s certainly not the first.
Can’t Arizona do ANYTHING right?
The jokes just write themselves.
A flake endorses Romney.
There isn’t a topic that Romney hasn’t been on both sides of.
Gov’t mandated healthcare, Abortion, Gun Rights, ect.
Everyone may change their mind during their life - but I’ve never met a Conservative who could field both sides of such foundational topics as this. I have no doubt whatsoever that Romney could easily swing both sides of a topic like Fetal Cannibalism.
I don’t know anything about Flake. Has he generally been a conservative?
A mormon endorsing another mormon
nothing unusual about this
move along...
Well, at least I won’t have to bother voting of RINOmney gets the nomination.
WHAT???? You mean a mormon is going to support a mormon? What a huge surprise!
I read the headline and chuckled. What an unfortunate last name.
OT, but I’d like to see Chris Wallace invite Jeff on his show and ask him: “Are you a Flake?”
We haven’t had a story this major since last weeks “Tom Ridge Endorses Huntsman” bombshell.
I didn’t think Milt was going to have a problem with the flake vote, or the squishes, for that matter...
Earth shattering.
We'll be stuck with an open-borders RINO masquerading as a conservative on the top of the ticket and be told we have to have a "fiscally conservative" RINO on the bottom of the ticket to provide balance.
Of course, in minds of the lamestream media, "fiscally conservative" means socialized medicine on a state by state basis. The advantage of that is that conservative states such as Alabama could opt out of including sex change operations and abortions in their state coverage mandates. For now.
