Election '12: You know a presidential campaign is going south when its detractors have more fun with its website than do its fans. That's the case with AttackWatch.com, the Obama site that's making him a parody.
According to the logic of AttackWatch.com cue "Jaws" music there's a vast, right-wing conspiracy out there determined to lie about the president and vote him out of office. Drastic steps are needed, and the comically menacing black-and-red AttackWatch website is the answer.
Calling on readers to "Get the facts. Fight the Smears," about President Obama's record, the site actually encourages all Americans to become snitches for Obama. That mimics the 2008 Obama campaign's "FightTheSmears.com" site, as well as the George Soros-funded MediaMatters.com. AttackWatch asks readers to "report" the "lies," presumably so the Obama team won't have to Google its own record.
On Twitter, this pompous, conspiracy-minded premise has managed only to attract an outburst of humor.
"I saw a kid eating fries with his happy meal yesterday," tweeted someone signing himself NostraSeamus.

“mikeblakely RT @CelebrationsLLC: If there was ever any doubt in anyones mind that our President is clueless about how to lead a nation - #attackwatch just removed that doubt”
And: Some tell Obama that 1984 was 27 years ago.

LoL, I’m not going to admit publicly to the same thing.
17 of these employees are in a section called "The Office of Public Engagement (OPE)". Valerie Jarrett oversees the group and gets a salary of $172,200. The director of OPE earns $150,000 three deputies are getting over $90,000 each. 14 of the 17 earn over $50,000.
And these are people who really should be on the payroll of a Campaign committee, not the Taxpayers of America.
Their mandate is to manage the message of the WH. I guess they will have to hire even more 'helpers' to manage AttackWatch.
My most favorite is that some reader of David Limbaugh’s column in today’s townhall.com. It went like: Hey @AttackWatch, some batty Orwellians created a website advocating snitching on peeps!
"What's the difference betwen #AttackWatch and BayWatch? One's full of gratuitous boobs and the other starred Pam Anderson"
"makTyme #AttackWatch staffed 100% by union thug veterans of the Battle of Madison, WI, the best $10 billion Obama ever "invested"."
-——American Idol-——
You are quite superficial in your assessment of this show and frankly do not know what you are talking about.
One of the more memorable ones was: Snitches get stitches!
What in the word are you rattling on about?? American Idol???
“VFW91 RT @aheram: Hey, @AttackWatch, I heard a vicious smear that under Obama, poverty rates in the U.S. jumped 20%. HOW CAN I STOP THE LIES? #attackwatch”
my name is Jeremy bird and I am responsible for this idea
“freeulysses Hey #attackwatch my friend says there’s a Texas voter registry that’s REQUIRING that voters have a heartbeat. They can’t do that, can they?”
yes, Idol is the triumph of excellence after a very discriminating process of excluding chaff from grain. The show is about success for the best. This last year it was a triumph of conservative values over the popular immorality
Free Republic had two threads in excess of 10,000 posts this year. The posts were by those who watched and understood the process and the rational
“JMOKC RT @KamaainaInOC: RT @ianessling: Someone should report @AttackWatch to #attackwatch since it is demolishing Obama’s reelection chances. Oh, the paradox!#tcot”
You're right. the conservative ones are endlessly inventive!
'nuff said.
The had one tweet that went something like: If you’re serious and everyone is laughing at you, hang it up. You’re done.
