America is still fighting over President Obama's costly bailout of Chrysler and General Motors. Especially the owners of Ford, the only member of Detroit's "Big Three" who rejected the government dole and emerged perfectly healthy.
[Check out our editorial cartoons on President Obama.]
In its most political ad in the so-called "Drive One" ads where real drivers are thrust before cameras to explain why they picked Ford, a real Ford F-150 pick-up driver is featured.

the lawsuit will drag out until way after holder is gone.
I'm not denying the later actions by Obama, its just didn't start on his watch.
Great ad! Makes you want to buy a Ford. Should make Barry want to get back under his rock...but it won’t. Instead, the poor guy that was interviewed will probably be audited.
The MSM will jump on this poor guy like they did Joe the plumber.

Only reason Bush did it was because Obama pleaded with him.
Consider that previously, Bush had been asked to aid the automakers and his response had been “No, go build better cars.”

Soon to be known as getting "Gibsoned"
I love it. It’s why I bought a 2010 GT, a 2011 Explorer and a 2012 Shelby GT 500.
UAW is now targeting FORD in its upcoming contract negotiations. Since the UAW has ownership of GM and Chrysler..if they strike FORD..well the conflicts are staggering..
Doesn’t matter - it was still at Obama’s behest, therefore it all belongs to him.
"I wasn't going to buy another car that was bailed out by our government. I was going to buy from a manufacturer that's standing on their own: win, lose, or draw. That's what America is about is taking the chance to succeed and understanding when you fail that you gotta' pick yourself up and go back to work. Ford is that company for me."
Ford has been doing well. I’m waiting for Ford to pull a Boeing and head down South more.
You nailed it.....right along with FORD.
Thanx.
Two FORD household....and FORD stockholders.
Ha! Yeah, good point!
The new Edge is really, really nice. Don’t have one but I have been checking them out. On my third Escape and just love it. My brother bought a Taurus and let me tell you, that is one nice vehicle.
It will be interesting to watch the politics of recalls going forward. Something tells me there is more than meets the eye with this.
Like what, enlighten me, please.
Obama’s army unleashed in 3 2 1...
I salute you for doing your duty, comrade!
OK, FReepers, we’re overlooking what’s REALLY important here!
I’ve looked at all the ads in this latest campaign, and I’ve concluded: That “Kristen” chick that leads the “interviewees” into the room is HAWT!
