DOVER, N.H. (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - Old Glory hangs proudly in the hallway at Dover Middle school where the pledge of allegiance is recited every morning. But there was a breach in school policy when a 7th grader, who is also autistic, brought his flag to school.
The flag was taken away because school officials said it could be used as a weapon.

Yes-The American Flag is the greatest weapon of Freedom.
That’s the only reason anybody apologizes any more.
They'd better take away pencils and pens, because they can be used to stab people.
They'd better remove all ring binders, because kids can squeeze each others' noses, fingers or genitals in the prongs.
They really should rethink having desks and chairs, because they can be thrown at other children.
Also, any neckties, belts, socks or scarves can be used to strangle others.
Lunchboxes? The hard ones are blunt objects and the soft ones can be stuffed into the victim's mouth or zipped over the head to suffocate.
Food itself can be stuffed into others' orifices.
Any bottles of liquid like water, milk or juice can blind someone temporarily or be used to hit them over the head.
Shoes? Blunt objects.
Shirts, dresses, pants... nooses.
The solution? Come to school naked, hungry and with no learning equipment. The teachers will like it. Stripping vulnerable children of any defense whatsoever has been the objective of government schools for quite some time now.
U can’t make this sh!t up.
yep.
The Left hates the American Flag because to them it represents the Republican Party. Any honor to the American Flag is reinforcing the values of traditional America which for most part is supported by the Republican Party.
The most dangerous thing in that school is the staff—and that is not a flag staff.
WTF is going on?
Welcome to the new world order.
The stick was the problem, not the flag...even though it was only the flag that could be initially seen from his backpack. Don’t let yourself be fooled, it was the flag that was the problem. And we trust these idiots to edumacate our children.
Sounds like he never got it back. They probably threw it in the trash.
Not sure who is the teacher/V. principle and who is the student.
I think this student just taught the adults a BIG lesson they will never forget, even on the unemployment line.
PS: I have two scars on my knee from Junior High School when I was unprovokedly (is that a real word or did I just make it up) stabbed by a friend (he was a little strange, come to think of it) Nobody seized the pencil. Today they would make the pencil attend a sensitivity class.
Fire the school super they’re the one’s who make these goofy policies ...Those school supers make a ton of money courtesy of the NEA ...If they start to become “redundant” the deffication will stop....
The real shame is that between colleges and unions, educators are taught and compelled to be this way.
We had a pencil-stabbing when I was in grade school. The kid got into some trouble for assaulting a student. Pencils remained unregulated, thank God.
Do they use pencils at schools anymore? Dumbasses.
I think it was the sense of patriotism that scared the school & not the notion that is was a weapon.

Dangerous enough to make the Left wet their panties.
Kudos to the autistic kid.
Just an opportunity to bully a child.
The Massholes are at it again.
NH used to be a reliably conservative state until they were invaded.
