CNBC isn’t drawing a paycheck from Uncle Sam, but I say they work for the admin. BTW, where was the countdown clock to jobless claims this morning? Didn’t see it on CNBC this morning. Go figger.

What does “too late” mean? Chaos/ States seceding? Bullets flying everywhere? Cars abandoned on the roads due to no gas? The Chinese occupying the west coast?

What does too late mean? Chaos/ States seceding? Bullets flying everywhere? Cars abandoned on the roads due to no gas? The Chinese occupying the west coast? sounds like fun. I'd welcome it... get rid of the parasites and separate the wheat from the chaff. I can just see all those pathetic thumb sucking con artists waiting for the social security disability checks for fakers, welfare checks, food stamps... just waiting and waiting as the waters rise...
The first to get strung up would be the rich inhabitants of washington dc. With it's strong work ethic the population would do what it does best.... blame rich folks with money. Priceless.

Will this result in an unexpected rise in the unemployment rate?

"Applications for unemployment benefits climbed to 428,000 in the week ending September10 from an upwardly revised 417,000 the prior week, the Labor Department said. "Has this "unexpected increase" EVER been revised downward? Seems like it's always "unexpected", and always an upward revision.

Too late is when you reach critical mass, the point of no return.
Or in more basic terms...
When you’ve fallen and can’t get up...

I'm not sure which way to interpret this...
- Is Hussein fudging the numbers now, in order to get his 'emergency' jobs bill passed? (without reading it, of course)
- OR, Is unemployment really ACCELERATING?

The first thing that came to mind when I saw that graph was the U.S. Air Force Song. "Off we go, into the wild blue yonder."
My apologies to the airmen and officer Freepers!

UE is accelerating. We just jumped to 13.4 in my area from 13.1 the month before.
