Why Hasn't Sarah Palin Followed Up on Her Crony Capitalism Claim Against Rick Perry?

Posted on 09/14/2011 6:46:47 PM PDT by Carling

Curious. It's been two entire days now, and I haven't seen or heard from Sarah Palin on FoxNews explain how she knew something was wrong as far back as 2007.

>>>> .... what on earth was Perry he saying when he said that people should not be denied education because of their last name? <<<<

He was reminding us, as his following sentence declared;
“this is America”, that it is a little ignorant to stereotype against any one race given our own tradition. Still, I get what you are saying.
I am, however, going to do the glass thing to get my guy elected. In today’s America, purity is dead unless of course you’re a Marxist. /s ;)

He was honorary at best. He made a single appearance with Gore then left the campaign. It was this campaign experience that prompted him to buck family and friends and switch parties.

When you look at the numbers, though, it’s really only about 10 FR Palin-centric posters who flock to these threads.

I think I’ve done my job here tonight.

Palin has been silent, and there are the same 10 or so posters flocking to each thread for her on a conservative site. I think that’s rather telling in its own way, isn’t it.

Reagan criticized the whole lot of them. Using “Reagans 11th commandment” is a cop out. He quit using it when running against Gerald Ford. Oh and it was invented by Gaylord Parkinson in 66.

”(N)early $30,000 from the drugmaker since 2000” given to Perry and “more than $355,000... “

OK, so Perry claims he only got $5,000 from the company that sells the anti cancer drug. Turns out the correct figure is nearly $30,000.

Whoa....if this is a fact, Perry is indeed toast. That's a bombshell that will blow his campaign out of the water if it's true.

So explain why Perry said Gore was no Econut in 88 but was ranting and raving on PBS NOVA in 83? OOPS!!! Must have slipped his mind.

Well her charges had some blowback with her own issues of cronyism. It appears she had no problem placing her unqualified friends in plum positions in charge of large slush funds. Also the fact that when she was governor the state got federal funding so that all girls could get the shot.

The pile on was ugly. It was catty and the majority of people don’t like it. The majority of people are more concerned with making sure we kick that turd in the whitehouse out and don’t want to give them a wounded candidate to face 0bama.

If they dropped Perry, who did they switch to? No one other candidate has a good immigration record.

After Gardasil, he received the $5,000 donation. Merck supports most Republican candidates, even Palin, with a $5,000 campaign donation. Perry received Merck contributions BEFORE the Gardasil thing, like most R governors. Even Michelle O’Bachmann knew BEFORE money was irrelevant. Candidates — all of them — have to have big contributors in order to get elected. That’s our crappy system.

I have the good fortune of listening to him about an hour every day. I heard him dig at Bachmann, he hardly mentioned Sarah.

With all the posts about Rush on FR, if he mentioned her the way Carling said (called her out), some PerryKrishna would have posted a thread about it, which is why I asked for a link.

Do you think the three time Gov of the second largest state in the USA would even know about that small amount.
The fact Merck gave so little in ten years is an insult to a national figure.

Merck hands out multi-millions to both parties .
Its legal to donate to campaigns !
Go check how much McCain, Obama, Kerry, Clinton, Brown, Palin, Boehner, Cantor, Reid got from Merck.
Its way from than 5,000 or 28,000 over ten years.

OK, so Palin knew there was something to it, it happened in 2007, and yet she still endorsed Perry last year. Hmmmmm. And McRino, too. Their respective opponents were a RINO (KBH) and a true conservative (JD Hayworth).

So there's a bit of inconsistency there, but it does show her Barracuda side (and I mean that in a good way, as in playing tough politics and seizing opportunities). I'll give Sarah the benefit of the doubt for now, but if she does run, she can't afford to burn too many bridges. If Perry is exposed as another Frank Murkowski, so be it, but there had better be proof. The GOP can't afford to blow 2012 by disemboweling itself in the primaries (but it certainly might).

And all that Pharma money that soon flowed into Texas was just a fluke. I see.

You constantly smear Palins supporters by calling them fakes and astro-turfers. Most of them have been here longer than you. And I never said she was running. I object to a 2008 sign up maligning older sign ups as trolls and “Obots, Paulites , and Romney bots”. It is a personal attack used only to silence those who disagree with you.
