Why Hasn't Sarah Palin Followed Up on Her Crony Capitalism Claim Against Rick Perry?

Curious. It's been two entire days now, and I haven't seen or heard from Sarah Palin on FoxNews explain how she knew something was wrong as far back as 2007.

Sarah likely will have very little more to say against the “crony capitalism” she enjoined against Rick. One peek at Bachman on the subject, seen immediately crashing and burning before our very eyes and Sarah’s too, should be a wake up call to anyone with dillusions of running on this non-issue, nationally. I didn’t like the Gardasil episode and no one I know did, but Romney is our alternative, and Perry has discussed his error in some detail and also his regret, though in smaller venues where he has the time to do so.

Also, the Palins’ have been hit today with nasty exerpts from that nasty book written by that nasty man. Levi’s book exerpts are floating again because of this new awful book, so nasty is converging. Surely they have their hands full over all this on the heels of the remark against Perry heard around the world that was worse than just a dud, but blew up like a grenade against those trying to make hay with it.

I was supporting Perry until he said he only got $5,000 when it turns out he got nearly $30,000 in campaign donations. Why did he use the $5,000 figure? Sounds like a lie to me, even if it wasn’t a quid pro non.

Really? Was it 30k? He told Bachmann he was offended if she thought he could be bought for 5k. If you are correct, then we know it takes at least 30k to buy Perry.

OK, so Palin knew there was something to it, it happened in 2007, and yet she still endorsed Perry last year. Hmmmmm. And McRino, too. Their respective opponents were a RINO (KBH) and a true conservative (JD Hayworth).

So there's a bit of inconsistency there, but it does show her Barracuda side (and I mean that in a good way, as in playing tough politics and seizing opportunities). I'll give Sarah the benefit of the doubt for now, but if she does run, she can't afford to burn too many bridges. If Perry is exposed as another Frank Murkowski, so be it, but there had better be proof. The GOP can't afford to blow 2012 by disemboweling itself in the primaries (but it certainly might).
