Sarah Palin bedding a budding NBA star, snorting coke and cheating on the First Dude?
You betcha.
The scandalous details are revealed in the highly-anticipated tell-all "The Rogue: Searching for The Real Sarah Palin," written by best-selling author Joe McGinniss.
Palin bedded future pro hoops player Glen Rice while he was playing at the University of Michigan, the National Enquirer reports about the McGinniss book.
The sharp-shooting Rice - who spent one season with the Knicks - was playing in the annual "Great Alaska Shootout" while Palin was a sports reporter with Anchorage television station KTUU, the Enquirer said.
Their one-night stand over Thanksgiving weekend 1987 reportedly occurred in the dorm room of Palin's kid sister at the University of Alaska Anchorage.
Palin was described by a friend as the aggressor, with the pal reporting "she hauled his ass down," the Enquirer said.
Less than a year later, Palin was pregnant by husband Todd and the couple eloped.
The book also repeated allegations - denied in the past by Palin - that she had a six-month affair with her husband's business partner in the mid-'90s.
The dalliance put a chill on the Palin marriage, with Todd complaining to friends about the loss of intimacy in their relationship, the Enquirer reported.
McGinniss, the author of "Fatal Vision" and "The Selling of the President," rented the house next door to the Palins in Wasilla while researching the bombshell book.
His agent, David Larabell, declined to comment on the Enquirer excerpts.
"As this is an embargoed book I can't comment on the specificity of its contents," Larabell wrote in an e-mail.
"Also, I haven't seen the National Enquirer article. I don't know about this instance, but they often get these reports right."
The book also reports that Palin was once seen snorting cocaine off the top of a 55-gallon drum while snowmobiling with friends. She also smoked pot with a professor while at Mat-Su College, the book says.
And it quotes a Palin family friend as saying that husband Todd Palin also snorted coke, describing him as "on the end of the straw plenty."
The Enquirer quoted a publishing source about the explosive stories contained in the 320-page book, due in stores next week.
There was no immediate response from the Palin camp.
rice was UNAVAILABLE for comment on WEDNESDAY.
Joe needs to have his ass sued to the nth degree!
Perhaps, but we’ve seen this little playlet over two dozen times before... imminent divorce, impending indictment by the FBI, Todd with prostitutes, etc. And each time they’ve been proven to be total garbage.
Add to this the McGinniss factor, who is about as thoroughly disreputable as a guy can be. I ain’t buying a thing he is selling. If Sarah comes out and says it’s true, then it’s true. And it’s fine by me. I don’t really care. But I’m not about to take the word of McGinniss or anyone associated with him. The man is abject evil, and someone should have lopped his head off years ago.
I hope you haven’t told anyone about my affair with you, have you?
I don’t know why but I suspect Zero’s never had sex with anybody. I don’t know where those kids came from. By the way: where are those kids? Why didn’t they take them to the 9/11 memorial? Where is the Muslim’s dog, by the way? He bought a dog and then it completely disappeared.
The fact is that she has done a hell of a lot more with her life since than any of the cockroaches slinging mud at her.
No, the mistake is that this is Obambi’s resume! Sex with a man, drugs etc.
Obozo didn’t bed white or black chicks.
He began his sexual career at the feet of a known communist homosexual who fed the young muslim cigarets and booze.
Can you explain your tagline to me? I’ve seen it on the Attack Watch and don’t understand it. Thanks!
Fortunately, the leftists that paid McGuinness to write this trash were so eager to portray Sarah Palin as a promiscuous drug user that they stupidly allowed McGuinness to go way too far past any semblance of plausibility, making refutation of these ridiculous, unattributed ('a friend said....') accusations quite easy. Besides, as I stated, this crap was expected, by Sarah Palin and anyone who supports her. Joe McGuinness wasn't snooping around the Palin homestead last summer for nothing. Now, he's delivered. His lies are bought and paid for. Meanwhile, Sarah Palin will continue to be a positive force for bringing sanity and stability into the political world, whether or not she becomes a presidential candidate.
Shhhhh!
Oh, I hope we are not going to wake up Andy Sullivan with this stuff. He’s got Sarah’s ovulation charts at the ready and he’d just LOVE to track little Track’s conception.
Yuck.
He would have moved in if they had let him...
Janet Malcolm does not reopen the MacDonald case in her book, "The Journalist and the Murderer." Rather, she examines the issues behind a libel suit that MacDonald brought in 1984 against his supposed friend, Joe McGinnis, author of "Fatal Vision." Joe McGinniss posed as an ally of Jeffrey MacDonald for years. McGinnis lived with MacDonald for a while and even joined his defense team. McGinniss sent MacDonald sympathetic letters in support of his cause. In these letters, he frequently expressed his belief in MacDonald's innocence.
It was only after "Fatal Vision" was published that MacDonald discovered the truth. McGinniss did not believe in MacDonald's innocence; on the contrary, he portrays MacDonald as a psychopathic murderer. The author posed as a friend for the sole purpose of keeping MacDonald in the dark so that McGinniss would continue to have access to his subject. "Fatal Vision" became a huge bestseller and it eventually became a miniseries.

What sorry scum! The POS actually moved in with his target!
YUCK!
.
Didn't he have a one night stand with her? I heard he was writing a book about it when he offed himself, the working title was: "Fear and Loathing, youbetcha!". Seems he never got over her.
Is Joe gay? He moves in with the admittedly handsome killer (at least I believe he was guilty despite Joe believing it, too) and then tries to move in with...Todd.
This may be from the Bush camp. McGinniss working for the Bush people. Remember according to Mickey Herskowitz, who co-authored Gov Connally’s autobiography, Connally was told by Richard Nixon that there were plans to conduct dirty campaign against Perot, including spreading a false rumor that his daughter was a lesbian.
There, fixed that for ya.
