I’m sure they will somehow blame Bush. If I remember correctly, they blamed Bush for Scott Brown’s win.

I just heard about this this morning—excellent news!

What I love about her reading lists is that she only posts articles from The New York Times. I swear that’s the only thing she reads, outside of Architectural journals! I mean, come on Babs, pick up a New Republic once in a while! Don’t be so lazy!

Congrats to all my NYC peeps!

Queens must be a little different from the rest of the East Coast, for this couldn’t happen hardly anywhere else.

Good question for NY’s on here. It’s NY so will he be a Scott Walker or a Scott Brown? I just want a guy that understands business instead of our nimrod Marxist president that couldn’t successfully run a lemonade stand.
To: ari-freedom
Thank you Ari-freedom and all NY 9 patriots who helped achieve this stunning victory!

To be honest, I don’t think that Hussien cares at all in what happens to democrats. He is such a narcisist; it is all about him.
I do think that the DNC is scared SH!TLE$$ right now. Any dem that stands with Hussien will likely get slaughtered in the polls in 2012. Last night’s results in NY mean that even dem-strongholds are no longer safe. This, along with many states re-drawing district maps (many key states like Ohio, Indiana, Mich., Wisc., have GOP legislatures), the dems are even in more trouble.
IMO, there is complete PANIC at the DNC (nationally and at state level)

I think it’s a legitmate question. I don’t know the guy so I’m not going to pass judgment, but we’ve seen a pattern of a RINO winning these one-off Dem congressional seats, turning far left, and then losing to the Dem at the next opportunity (e.g. Joseph Cao, LA-2 and Charles Djou, Hi-1). I expect the same fate will befall Scott Brown. I hope this new guy resists the temptation to veer left in order to secure re-election in 2012.
To: vbmoneyspender
Watched the results come in last night with great joy.
THANK YOU, NEW YORK! And more specifically, THANK YOU, BROOKLYN!!!

I read here somewhere that this district will likely not exist in a year because of re-districting....

Other than in the Bronx and Staten Island, huge numbers of Jews in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. While Queens has lots of blacks, more in Brooklyn; Latinos big in both, but I would guess more in Brooklyn. Biggest difference: Asians BIG TIME in Queens...subway that goes to one part of Queens (Flushing) is called The Orient Express.
But I would like to hear from clemenza who is truly the demographic expert on these boards.

This district will like be vaporized for 2012 since NY State lost population and a house seat. He may not have a chance for re-election.
