Palin takes aim at GOP presidential candidates
The Hill ^ | September 12, 2011 | Josh Lederman

Palin even went as far as to lend her voice to the charge leveled by Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) during the debate against Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R): That he allowed a law to go though requiring HPV vaccinations for adolescent girls because of a $5,000 campaign donation and his relationship with his former chief of staff, who went on to lobby for a pharmaceutical company.

"I knew there was something to it," Palin said of learning while she was Alaska's governor that her Texas counterpart had given the go-ahead to the vaccine. "Now we're finding that now, yea, something was up with that issue. It was an illustration or bit of evidence of some crony capitalism."

The ‘Texas Cervical Cancer Strategic Plan’ is worse than a bad joke. It is not based on sound science nor objective interpretation of the empirical data.

It is an attempt to use the power of government to force the use of a provably harmful agent. The use of vaccines cannot even be put in the ‘questionable’ column; they have been shown to be ineffective for their intended purpose, and riddled with deadly “side effects” that are far more effective than the claimed intended effect.

And you call Palin “misinformed;” start informing yourself!

Thanks for that list of people and agencies that profit from forcing the use of a known harmful agent.

Now ask yourself how they can look themselves in the mirror without vomiting.

>> “It’s not 55 deaths, but millions of deaths prevented worldwide by vaccinations over the years.” <<

.
That’s a lie that even you should be ashamed of.

Vaccinations do not prevent anything, and their “side effects” do cause millions of deaths each year.

>> “And pray tell, how will be they be for Perry and for Obama Care at the same time?” <<

.
And the evidence that Big Pharma is ‘for’ Obamacare?

All that I’ve seen says they’re not. Obama has set out to break the corporations that profit from “healthcare,” and divert their profits to his own use.

Did you really ask “And the evidence that Big Pharma is “for” Obamacare?”

Really?

Big Pharma and Big Health Insurance cut a deal with the devil to support Obama Care. It’s well documented and was well known during the debate. I wrote about it on American Thinker and also ghost wrote segments on it for a major commentator. This was no secret.

Now, was it a fool’s bargain for short term profit only through crony capitalistic parts of Obama Care? Sure. Was it foolish? Sure. Was it inevitably going to lead to these companie’s death? Sure, after the current CEO’s had retired wealthy.

But they supported it, no doubt.

That may be your opinion, but as it is playing out, it does not appear to be so.

The healthcare giants are at war with Obama in courtrooms across the country over their premium increases.

It is more than opinion - it is fact that they DID support Obama Care.

Are some of them learning their lesson now about how foolish that way? Yes, you are right, some of them are. But some, Aetna I believe is one not sure, still do support it.

But certainly their foolish support will come back to haunt all of them in coming months and years. Because supporting it was short sighted and foolish and even corrupt.

Out of curiosity, how much time did Palin spend discussing Solyndra last night? She's dividing the GOP over a $5k donation to Rick Perry while the corruption in the White House runs rampant.

None. But only because her purpose for being on Greta's show was to discuss the debate that had just ended minutes before. If you are familiar with the two speeches she gave Labor Day weekend in Iowa and New Hampshire, you will know that they were virtually dedicated to the evils of the Obama administration.

I am more concerned that the announced candidates chose to ignore the Solyndra scandal during their two-hour debate last night.

All of these candidates have baggage of some sort. And this stuff is going to be used against them at some point on a national level. Gov. Palin and Newt are the only ones who have been thoroughly investigated. It will be interesting to see how the others handle it and how they defend their records.

Reagan didn’t announce until October.

“It’s all besides the point: our country is not in trouble due to forced vaccinations.”

Yes, our country is not in trouble due to forced vaccinations. But you’re wrong about this being “beside the point” and I think you’re well aware of that. The underlying issue is a far more basic and larger one than gardasil. It’s whether or not the leading contender for the gop nomination is, to put it indelicately, a corporate whore.

If the answer is yes, then we have a much bigger problem in Rick Perry than some silly shot.

“The idea that Perry would harpoon himself for a measly 5 grand is prepostrous. For Palin (and Bachmann) to accuse him of doing so borders on slander.”

And to imply that this is what is being alleged by Sarah Palin is disingenuous. The issue with gardasil is not the vaccinations. It’s whether or not the leading (announced) contender for the gop nomination is completely predisposed to take favor with business interests over other competing interests. Such as liberty, property rights, parental rights, or other ideas that conservatives generally hold dear.

To put it indelicately, is he a corporate whore or is he not?

Does he have a habit of that? Is that his record? Or is it an outlier? Is he normally a government interventionist? If so, let’s here about something other than the damned gardisil issue. If there’s more there, put it out there.

“Vaccinations do not prevent anything”

I wasn’t talking to you.

You are truly a nutcase to butt in and call someone names for stating basic well-known truth. The truth is the success of vaccines against polio, smallpox and other dread diseases, saving millions of lives ...

http://www.ecbt.org/advocates/immunizationsuccess.cfm

“Immunization is one of the most successful public health achievements of the 20th Century. Due to systematic programs, smallpox has been eliminated worldwide, and cases of polio, measles, pertussis, diphtheria, and Hib are at all-time lows. The burden of other diseases has been significantly reduced.

According to one study, the standard childhood immunization series prevents approximately 10.5 million cases of infectious illness a year and 33,000 deaths in the United States.v Another report published by the World Health Organization, UNICEF and the World Bank found that three million lives are saved worldwide each year through childhood immunizations — a number that could be doubled with increased funding.vi “

“I am more concerned that the announced candidates chose to ignore the Solyndra scandal during their two-hour debate last night. “

Wolfie and the other lib moderators keep baiting the candidates to attack eachother. if you notice, the Tea Party questioners would ask good straight-up questions and then wolfie wuold ‘reinterpret’ the question to skew it anti-GOP.

Newt has been on to their game and keeps busting it wide open. Other candidates need to learn from Newt how to turn this liberal mis-direction back on them. It’s a sort of verbal judo, which they need to use against Obama and the LSM rather than the designated GOP pinata.

“Does he have a habit of that?”

I think that will come out over the course of the campaign. That’s part of the reason for campaigns; to vet the candidates. If the other candidates do their job, and the press actually reports it, then we’ll get a pretty good picture of what and who Gov. Perry is. Warts and all.

I’m not a Texan so I don’t follow their politics closely. I do know that from a gun rights perspective, Texas is odd. For a state that is as “conservative” as it supposedly is, they have some pretty arcane gun laws that would be more typical in a state like say, Maryland. Gov. Perry is clearly not all that concerned about gun rights or over a space of 10 years some of that would have changed. And then there is the trans-Texas corridor.

So far the picture that is emerging is that of a sunshine conservative.

No that’s the horse shit.

Polio was down to next to nothing before the vaccine brought it back to life. The SV40 virus in the polio vaccine has taken millions of lives, and continues to do so.

See ya nutcase!

He might well end up being a sunshine conservative. I have my reservations with him — but I am tiring of the gardicil issue and I really find it reprehensible that someone in favor of ethanol (Bachmann) is calling anyone out on crony capitalism. Ironic, aint it?
