Congressional investigators reviewing the failed gun-tracking program Operation Fast and Furious have formally asked the Obama administration to turn over copies of "all records" involving three key White House national security officials and the program, other ATF gun cases in Phoenix, and all communications between the White House and the ATF field office in Arizona.
The letter signed Friday by Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Vista), chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, and Sen. Charles E. Grassley of Iowa, the top Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee, was sent to National Security Advisor Thomas E. Donilon, a top aide to President Obama.
It marks a significant step in the committee's investigation into the failed gun-tracking operation, as the committee begins to broaden its investigation from the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and targets White House and Department of Justice officials.

People actually died. This is much more than Watergate.
Fingers crossed, but getting a little cramped now—I’m a backer itching for her to announce!
Let’s just concentrate on the illegality of this scandal, and not how some politician may/may not use this scandal in the future.
I pray some big fish get caught. I’d love to say goodbye to Doofus and his commie buddies.
Dead on target.
I didnt see it four days ago, EITHER thanks, Broker for posting!
Good job.
and often they don’t.
We reported this last Friday. L.A. Times is slow.

Let Freedom Ring,
“The letter requests all emails, documents, briefing papers and handwritten notes involving O’Reilly, Restrepo and Gatjanis during the Fast and Furious period,”

How many shredders have they fried since this story broke? Chicago thugs and Marxists control the WH now, the mob doesn’t play by the rules. If there is something they don’t like, whether it be a person, document whatever, they do one thing.... get rid of it, destroy it, deep 6 it.
If that's the case, we will see a feeding frenzy when it comes out. Hopefully, he's got Holders jewels in a vice.
This goes way beyond Watergate. Nobody died because of Watergate.
Contrast with Palin’s 25,000 emails released.
There’s sunshine somewhere, but it isn’t in Washington.
Hubba, hubba, hubba. Go Congressman Issa and Senator Grassley!
Oh, ok. Thanks for clearing that up. (I was genuinely confused). IBTZ is generally used for people trolling the boards. I was unaware of that interpretation of the ZOT paradigm. ;D
I didn't see this article four days ago, and I'm on FR religiously. I'm glad this was re-posted, as I would probably not have seen this news for some time.
On the other hand, the Democrats and Obama people came in with huge majorities in Congress and figured they would be able to block any investigations. They got sloppy and arrogant and did not even try to cover their tracks.
The whole Fast and Furious operation was built on the presupposition that the government would be able to cover up the fact the Fast and Furious guns used in murders had been purchased illegally as part of government operation. They in fact did cover up the fact that the gun used to kill Border Patrol Agent was gun from Fast and Furious
No way would any LEO want to be a part of that and LEOs know how to collect evidence and build a case. Maybe even do a little investigating into Fast and Furious on their own. Team Obama is screwed on this one big time. Issa's got the goods and Team Obama is playing blind mans bluff with perjury and obstruction of justice charges in the capitol murder case of at least one American LEO and many Mexican LEOs and politicians
Remember Cops will stop at nothing to bring to justice the killer of a brother LEO and Agent Terry was a brother. This is personal to the honest, dedicated career LEOs that this administration forced to participate in illegal activities for Fast and Furious and they are not going to let this slide.
