When do we finally get to admit it’s a hoax?
When the folks mentioned in this article clean out the bank account and disappear. In other words, soon.
For the True Believers, it will never be a hoax. It will turn into a conspiracy theory that will last forever.
How bout reserving judgment until at least "some" evidence that it actually "is" a hoax actually appears. Right now, there is NO evidence of that, and at least some evidence in the other direction.
Until that time, I suggest actually studying the evidence that "does" exist, in the reports issued by those who attended the demonstrations, and videos and interviews covering same, instead of just popping up on these threads, bleating "it's a scam", and then disappearing.
You are not allowed to see the data, your are not allowed to reproduce the results, and you are not allowed to question the conclusions.
Doesn't that worry you a bit?
I’ve seen these things before. They never say just what this thing is, citing the amorphous “Them” who will steal their product. Ever heard of a “Patent”? Of course, if it is a scam, patents don’t apply.
Three weeks until October. I’d love for this to be real, but I expect the dates to start slipping into the future real soon now.

On the other hand, wise inventors DON'T patent industrial secrets they CAN keep secret, because patents reveal those secrets so that anyone can duplicate the process and undercut them with minor changes. That is why there are such things as TRADE SECRETS.
There are so far at least four respected nuclear physicists who have examined the E-catalyst devices and are at a loss to explain where the energy is coming from other than a low energy nuclear process.
How about not regurgitating the same speculation, rumors, and innuendo from blogs until some real news occurs?
It would appear that the danger is not that someone will reproduce the process but that no one can.
Sorry True Believers, but that sounds like the perpetual motion machine that will change the world.

Of course you can't invest, there's nothing to invest in, no device, no plant, no licenses, no production facilities, no business, no patents, no contracts, partners, nothing but PR and press releases.
Did you even BOTHER to click on the link to the NOBEL LAUREATE's comments I posted above? Or the link to the Italian patent Rossi has been granted on his process before you posted that statement? The device exists. The device has been tested by phycicists and the results verified. A Greek company is licensed to manufacture it and IS DOING SO, there IS A PATENT, and you post your claims based on What? From what I can tell, nothing except your unfounded skepticism.

And you are sure of this because your an expert in the field? I’m sorry, I didn’t realize that.
Some well respected scientists probably agree with you, and for sure some don’t. I am a scientist(of sorts), and I don’t know. I suspect you don’t either.
Do you know what the Coulomb barrier is? How about the Gamow window? Didn’t think so...
Like I said, I don’t know if this thing will work or not, but it’s not going to cost me anything to find out. It won’t cost you anything either, so why be so negative?
I do know that nuclear fusion has been achieved by literally thousands of experimenters (some even a high school student). None of these back yard physicists have the background that Rossi has.
I also know (because it’s intuitive) that if no one tries, we will never get there.
