Lincoln did not join the Republicans until 1856, over two years after the party was founded.

The non-stop 9-11 Retrospectives have completely wiped out any coverage of the Affirmative Action Anus in Chief's address. (Masterful timing on Team Obama's part!) Except on NPR, which has been remarkably almost non-committal in its less-than half-hearted support of the effort.

They have managed to take quite a few gratuitous swipes at the simple-minded, fundamentalist, laughably constitutional Republican Obstructionists, though. Just to keep their hand in, I guess.

I really don’t understand his teams philosophy on timing for announcements.

They announce things on Fridays or before important events. Whatever he has to say just gets lost in the background noise.

This dingbat should have announced his supposed plan while Congress was out and called for their return. Not setting the other side up for an argument very well.

Where do these people get their historical facts? Just recently MLK's daughter, at the dedication of the statue of her father in DC, told the world that Abraham Lincoln was remembered for signing our Declaration of Independence! Quite a feat! Obama and MLK's grandaughter need to get together and get their stories straight if they are going to try to pass on lies about Lincoln.

Of course, not one major media entity reported or commented on MLk's grandaughter's stupidity! Not one. Nor will they criticize Obama for incorrectly saying Lincoln was the founder of the Republican party.

But Palin is jumped all over in all the media for her CORRECT statement about Paul Revere. And Bachman is criticized repeatedly for her mistake of confusing Elvis Presley's birthday with the date of his death. Imagine...the liberal media fell all over themselves because she said something unimportantly incorrect about Elvis. Yet no one in the liberal media dares to note how Obama, the Won, shows complete ignorance about our nation's history, forefathers, or even the current number of states (we have 57, remember, LOL).
