Get a magnet on B.O. the next time he gives a speech.

Now we know what the scar is on the side of Obama’s head...obviously where the magnet was inserted.

The team discovered that when magnets were applied to either the right or left side of the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex in the front of the brain, depending on which side was stimulated, the subjects would either lie or tell the truth. Strap this to Obama's brain:
Where were you born?
Who's your daddy?
Are you still smoking?
When's the last time you had gay sex and who was it with?
Are you losing weight because of cocaine usage, or do you have AIDS?

“To be able to apply a magnetic field to a specific brain region and change people’s moral judgements is really astonishing”
Seems to be the proto-type to the Borg.

Ooh, eight volunteers. Gotta be significant. /s

I won’t believe this until I see them apply it to politicians and the lying stops.

Magnetic Pulses to the Brain Make it Impossible to Lie: StudyThat's closer to the truth, I'd imagine.

That’s a very small group, no control groups and we don’t know what other influences there were. It looks like a trick “test” from here.

Well here comes the “Magnetic Fields In The Earth Made Me Do It” defense in a court room near you.

Sometimes the thought of mom and a belt made me lie!!

I thought of that, too...as Obama’s defense.

8 us significant. 1 is significant. You are dealing with organ structures where millions of dead people have been examined in the past. Deviations would be significant of something. But here the people seem to be typical of their kind and these magnets can make them make moral judgments.
The study is about MAGNETS, not BRAINS.

Last year, researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology also used powerful magnets to disrupt the area said to be the brain's "moral compass," situated behind the right ear, making people temporarily less moral. I can see some pretty good applications for this....Do they make the generators small enough to fit under a bar?

I'll bet it has more to do with colors and preferences and/or other influences.
And they never actually gave the stats. In a group of eight....the stat changes quickly.

...more often, ... more likely ...Either the headline is a lie or the text is. "More often" and "more likely" are considerably different than saying "impossible." The author needs to stop playing with magnets while he's writing.

Did they screen their participants for color blindness/perception? Not everybody sees colors the same way.
