"You think of morality as being a really high-level behaviour. To be able to apply a magnetic field to a specific brain region and change people's moral judgements is really astonishing," said Dr Liane Young, who led the study.

It's also really astonishing that a brain researcher doesn't understand the obviousness of fronting logical fallacies to suck up more grant money.

That is a very good point. They effectively told them to turn off their “moral compass” before they applied the magnetic pulses. You should be a scientist. Or at least an editor for test parameters. lol

lol. Funny thing is, I wrote a jacket about me being the “little brown church lady” that nobody would ever have suspected of having a secret online identity, investigating and rooting out government corruption, working to expose a secret that the government would stop at nothing to keep hidden.

The kids asked me if the synopsis was true or not, and their consensus was that it couldn’t be true. lol. My front cover just had the title of the pretend book: Butter DZ.

I told them it was a secret, whether it was true or not. lol. I sometimes feel like Perry the Platypus. Real-life people think I do nothing but watch my garden grow weeds. lol

I don’t think anybody would have accused me of lying if the story had been fictional though, since I was given permission to make it fictional.

My kids think I should be a scientist too, but that’s just because I was the first person they ever heard of who was willing to discuss the possibility that string theory could be true. lol

Critics point out that study was only based on 16 volunteers, but it nonetheless indicates that despite common public assumptions, the sense of right and wrong is based not only on social constructs such as cultural or religious beliefs, but rather our brain mechanisms.

Where the HECK do they think we STORE those 'social constructs'? Hyperspace? The ether? Over a lifetime of experiences and thoughts they get wired into... wait for it..... BRAIN MECHANISMS. Where do they get these moronic 'critics'.

This technology will NEVER get approved. Why? If it does you can say goodby to every lawyer and judge and the billions of dollars that go along with them.
