Sarah Palin must wonder what happened to her political glamour.
(Excerpt) Read more at online.wsj.com ...
You seem to presume Perry/Romney fatigue is something which will happen at a future point in time.
Heck. Yesterday. :D
Nothing has ‘happened to her political glamor’ - it still exists in full flower! No thanks to jealous liberal media.
In Iowa last week, THIS LADY told me why she supports Sarah Palin.
It's the best explanation I've heard yet!
“Does anyone imagine that a real conservative would possibly win a Pulitzer Prize? “
Yes.
Paul Gigot is a journalist and an excellent and insightful conservative opinion-maker. He has a show on Fox on saturday.
His article is more what-might-have-been than a hit-piece. Apparently, anyone who dare mentions that some folks are getting tired of Palin’s non-decision has be be drummed out of the conservative movement.
If Mittens does not get the nod there will be hell to pay for Palin or Perry !
Someone posted a (what is to me currently a rumor, since I have no first hand knowledge) earlier today - that according to a tweet today, PPP will be releasing a poll tomorrow, showing Palin ahead of OBAMA by 14 points in NC, among independents...
That’s landslide territory.
I guess that is a pattern. Im not tired.
Nor am i, actually i feel abnormally patient.
I see pure palin panic!
If I recall correctly the majority of Alaskans don’t list a party affiliation. If so she would have had to pull in a heck of a lot of independents to win there.
I think you’re right about the Teflon. At this point everything has been thrown at her. She is fully vetted and the more that the Left Lying Stream Media tries to smear, the more folks will be interested to investigate and more will be convinced the she is the real thing.
Oh, you mean Mr. Douche bag.
I can ignore all the pre-election sludge, and if Palin isn't on the ticket, I can just not bother to waste my time in the voting booth.
SWEET!!!
He runs the WSJ Op-Ed page.
Random thoughts, CC. Remember all that negative megacrap that came out trashing Glenn Beck after he told ailes he was leaving Fox, but WE didn’t know it at the time?
She maight have asked to be let out of her contract when she had that meeting in NYC with Fox and they laid down a date she would have to stay until. What if Fox is trying to force her to break her contract before that specific date or make her life hell in the process like they did to Beck. I know they made it rough for Beck.
And in the meantime, she can’t go on any other network or anything. No network interviews, no Sunday talkshows, nothing.
Ahhh the Amnesty Rag run by globalist Rupert Murdoch.
Someone made a list of the people to whom Palin has been compared...That "someone" would be FReeper EveningStar -- and here is a recent version of of his "list, as it was posted in July -- with "Gideon" already on it:
This is an ongoing list of historical, popular, and Biblical people; fictional characters, as well as animals that Sarah Palin () has been compared to on FR:Since I have been responsible for MANY of the entries on this list, let me say that it is NOT (necessarily) a bad thing to use historical analogies to make a point -- in this case, about Governor Palin's strategy with regard to "squishy" vs. "non-squishy" supporters.

What's the use of KNOWING history (and literature) -- if you cannot LEARN from it?
Even Hillbuzz can find it.
Based on filing requirement deadlines as I understand them, Governor Palin technically has until November 11th at 5pm to announce her campaign for the presidency (this being the latest she could submit her paperwork and the $35,000 filing fee for the South Carolina primary, which is the earliest filing deadline of any of the caucuses or primaries that will determine the ultimate Republican nominee).
The Governor, however, has promised to let her supporters know her intentions definitively by the end of September.
Or how about here...
Palin has said she is considering entering the race for the 2012 GOP nomination, already under way in Iowa, which holds the first nominating caucus, and other early-voting states. She has said she expects to make a decision by the end of September, and is not expected to disclose her plans during her speech Saturday at a tea party rally in a town south of Des Moines.

Apparently there are some that are getting impatient. Whether you are supporting or throwing rocks will not change anything. Gov. Palin said "by the end of September."
On a "predictive" note, Gov. Palin indicated she is attending the World Knowledge Forum, which runs from Oct. 11 to 13 and is expected to discuss US leadership in the midst of global economic turmoil. Other speakers include former British prime minister Gordon Brown and Larry Summers, ex-director of President Barack Obamas National Economic Council.
Given that an announcement of active candidacy prior to that would cause quite a stir and a reasonable expectation would be numerous public appearances around the U.S. the "end of September" time-frame settles in quite nicely.
The decision to run is hers but I would think attending the World Knowledge Forum as a candidate would present an outstanding opportunity to contrast herself against Larry Summers, ex-director of President Barack Obamas National Economic Council.
Then BuckeyeTexan clued me in on David Brody / Gov. Palin and a direct question on the time-frame.
David Brody: Is that short order by the end of September? October?
Palin: I think that that is a fair time line for people, because Fall time, they can start getting engaged with different campaigns, but still thinking about it, and really, really desiring to be a participant in the positive change that needs to happen in this country.
Of course, direct quotes from interviews with Gov. Palin will not deter the folks that want to obfuscate a clear choice for real reform of the fed gov.
So...
September - October.
.
Pattern?
More like a drumbeat from so called conservatives!
I think the republicans are restless and are stewing for a bloody nose!
