Sound as if someone put too much bleach in the mop water.

. . . isn't diversity grand.

The usual fume-producing mistake with bleach isn’t having too much, but mixing another cleaning chemical with it such as ammonia. This liberates large amounts of chlorine and other chlorine containing noxious gases. Speaking of emission of noxious gases, Obama’s blitherfest has started hasn’t it?

Yes, Hussein Obama is talking out of both sides of his piehole as I post.

Same on rhetoric.

After eating at McDonalds and using their restrooms, I have left it in a condition where a person could easily succumb to toxic fumes.

Are you suggesting that there is a racial component to this accident? What color skin should workers have in order to prevent something like this from happening again?

But if you pass out you'll land on a clean floor. Deadliness is cleanliness.

Yep - Occam’s Razor would suggest some mixture of bleach and ammonia. I too am studiously avoiding Obama’s toxic gas emission.

Pretty safe guess...

Bleach + Ammonia yields hydrochloric acid, chlorine gas, chloramine and even hydrazine!

All of the above are highly toxic, and in an enclosed poorly ventilated space could create a “gas chamber” effect...Accumulated toxic gases exclude the air (oxygen!) and the person is smothered and poisoned...

A person who’s systems are already compromised by illness or old age could be easily overcome...

I once ate at a McDonald’s after stopping at an interstate highway rest stop. I felt going in but my stomach was in turmoil as I left. Just as it was some 10 years earlier.

People actually eat that crap? And it’s the number one fast-food restaurant chain? Speaks volumes about the taste buds (and stomachs) of a helluva lot of Americans.

I don’t know about in other parts of the country, but McDonalds’ around me have really gone down hill. I took my nephew the other day. The food was so bad I couldn’t eat it (and I’m not hard to please). Then water started flowing out from under the bathroom door until there was a puddle under 4 or 5 tables. The one worker looked at it and walked back behind the counter. The time before that, I got a hamburger at the drive through and the meat was putrid. I haven’t been there since.

Mrs. JohnnyP wanted a Big Mac some time last year, so we went. The meat tasted like it was half oatmeal. Where’s the beef? Or do they claim no fillers?

Unless you count “pink slime” as a filler. Google THAT! Yes McD’s uses it claiming the FDA says that it’s fine.

My first thought was mixing bleach and ammonia. I made that mistake once, thank goodness I was in a VERY well ventilated room. Still nearly asphyxiated.
