It turns out that the only books to be found in any of the three large buildings in the walled compound are manuals — how to fire rocket launchers and wire-guided missiles, among others. The buildings are actually disguised warehouses full of munitions — mortar shells, artillery rounds, anti-tank missiles and more — thousands of pieces of military ordnance that are completely unguarded more than two weeks after the fall of the capital.

I honestly think Obama is totally clueless.
He has no idea what he is doing domestically or otherwise. I doubt he gave any thought whatsoever to any weapons that were not secured. If he did give these weapons thought, who in the name of all that is holy did he think was going to secure them? He was there bombing indiscriminately, why didn’t he just bomb these weapons depots. It was the perfect opportunity to to take them out.
Yet he didn’t. Why didn’t he? We must have some sort of intelligence agency that knew where they were stored.
If intelligence is what we can call this mess Obama has made of our CIA and military intelligence.
Can you explain that purpose in a cogent manner?

Certainly no good against frontline American aircraft, but against civilian craft from the third world potentially deadly. I believe our chopper pilots faced SA-7s in Iraq with some regularity, but thru operational changes and their jammers they were not much threat.
