The geniuses at the White House who scheduled Obama's speech on the same night that the Green Bay Packers were going to open their defense of the Super Bowl may just have cost the president the state of Wisconsin.
At least one Badger State NBC affiliate appears to be thumbing their nose at the White House and pre-empting the president's jobs speech in favor of airing pre-game festivities.
At least Packers fans have a reasonable perspective about what the president will say. They'd rather hear about how Aaron Rodgers will attack the Saints blitzing than listen to an increasingly irrelevant politician offer little in the way of hope on the jobs front.

Obama is not an American so of course he wouldn’t know any better than to schedule his speech same time as Packers.

The handlers for the President and planning staff....really screwed up on this situation. Their obsession about out-doing the Republicans is hindering their ability to rationalize even scheduling now.
If the 49’ers ever fold they could move the Packers to San Fran. They wouldn’t even have to change the name...

LOL...we’re transplants to NE Ohio from the Cincinnati area, so we’re Bengals fans.
I lived in Cinti.. that is where my ex/family were from. It has come a long way since we were there in the 70s. The waterfront is amazing. I always liked the teams. The big red machine was awesome. Nice facilities for sports & conventions now.
