Conventions are a time to come together to celebrate our Party and our President, and show Americans what unites us as Democrats.
Three years ago, I was in Denver.
On the second-to-last night of the Democratic National Convention, I watched as Michael Wilson, an Iraq War veteran, stood to nominate Barack Obama to be president of the United States. I spoke to second that nomination, and I talked about how important it is to nominate a candidate who reflects all our values -- to choose a leader who is looking out for all our country's citizens, not just millionaires, billionaires, and special interests.
And I believe that our Convention ought to reflect those same fundamental principles.
To ensure that happens, I need you to take an active role and become a part of this event.

There are no ugly Freepers
There are no ugly freepers ideologically, just ugly people. LOL!
When you pull the string on her back, she whines out endless condescending lies.
And they’re funny to boot!
LOL
Why would any serious group decide that D. Wasserman-Shultz would be the talking head for a national campaign??
She looks like a harpy, talks as a whiner, acts like a partisan jerk on steriods.
Where is Baghdad Bob when he’s needed?
LLS
Now you have it! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
LLS
Damn I feel better!
LLS
She looks exactly like a satan hire to me.
